I went on trivia night (Tuesday nights) and ordered the Slaughter Vegan Al Pastor nachos. The nachos were insanely delicious. I could not believe the al pastor “meat” was plant-based. Amazing!! Trivia night was also so much fun! Me and my crew will definitely be going back for drinks, trivia, and the Slaughter Vegan Al Pastor nachos and tacos!

I came here for my husband's birthday for an early dinner based on the menu selection that reminded me of the places we used to love going to when we lived in Chicago. Items such as impossible Tacos and cheese curds in particular.Service was slow to start even though it didn't seem like they were recently sat and it wasn't particularly full of people. But the server was friendly and once she arrived in the first place, she was very attentive afterwards so I'm wondering if it was a shift change or something.The cheese curds were alright, the Buffalo cauliflower was good even though they put the sauce on when I asked for it on the side. But it came with the most offensive sauce I've eaten in a while that shouldn't go anywhere near cauliflower.The tacos were broken up hamburger patties sprinkled with taco seasoning. Surprisingly edible once you get past the dryness. I managed to eat a whole one because I was starving, but couldn't make it past that.I'm glad we checked it out, but I doubt we'll be back unless their menu gets a bit of a refresh to vegetarian options they can execute a bit better on. In which case I'd love to give it another shot due to the convenient location.

We were in town for a sporting event and we found Brass Tap. Our server Shane was amazing! His recommendations were good. We were a large party with kids and he did amazing. The food was good, the restaurant was clean, nice, and the service was great. The food came out hot and it was delicious. Thank you to our server Shane and the staff.

Great food!! Great beer!! We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. We had the fish and chips and fried shrimp for lunch. Best fish and chips we have had. Pretzel was not too greasy and light dough. So good!!

Look, nice spot, good selection of drinks and decent bar food. It was packed inside so we sat on the covered patio, in the cold and rain. We could have left but we thought we'd make a go of it. Server greeted us, brought menus but 20 minutes later NEVER came back. We left, didn't say a word but we know we will never go back. If you don't have enough servers, close the patio. If you seat people, in the cold, in the rain, then understand situational service. In this situation, a little attention was required. Missed opportunity to step up your game. Stop frequenting places with poor service, they all expect tips, shouldn't you expect good service?
Stopped here for late night dinner and was very pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the bartenders were! They took the time to help me find the perfect beer for my personal tastes and checked on us frequently! I got the chicken tenders which were huge but I wasn't a huge fan of the heavy breading on them. Would definitely come back to drink though if I'm ever back in the area!

Great selection of beers and ciders!! Love that they also keep things rotating. Their food is really tasty too! My favorite thing used to be the steak nachos - absolute perfection until they recently started putting them into a tower. Really unfortunate because now they're an absurd mess, difficult for the staff to serve, and they aren't as good this way (the toppings aren't as evenly distributed). Hence removing 1 star from the rating. Their hot honey pizza is a solid win though! My husband has enjoyed their burgers, wings, and Fish & Chips. French fries are solid. The staff is attentive and friendly. Good service. There's lots of TVs around the bar making it a great place to catch a game. This is a great spot to grab a beer and dinner after work or with friends over the weekend!

We were passing through (looking for a taproom) and saw their amazing menu online & we had to stop! Nitro beers on table are a rarity & My "prettier half" likes wheat/wheat/hef's... They had an amazing selection of BOTH. And everything between. Our Beer-tender (Jordan) was not only super knowledgeable, but he was genuinely excited to answer our questions and to share his favorite recommendations. It's rare to have the person taking your order really interested in what you like. They're usually just looking for the quickest way to pout you a beer and move on to the next. Not my man Jordan. He slowed me down & asked about flavor profiles to go above and beyond in the way most wouldn't have. I can't tell you how much this meant. I asked about one of the newer beers on tap. He wasn't familiar. Instead of just BS'ing me: he asked another employee if they were hip toy request. (Cue "Britani") She not only knew about the draft selection... But brought out some top level bottled and canned beers for us to try! These were types/styles/variations I've never even heard of! My usual 5 minute review has turned into 20mins of typing. I can't speak highly enough about the folks over at Brass Trap. If you're looking for tasty beer, knowledgeable staff, and am experience: here's your sign! Thanks guys. You're amazing!
