Having lived in Irvine for 10 years where there are numerous high quality sushi restaurants to choose from, I was a little disappointed by the lack of high quality sushi in Corona. Tokai Sushi has changed that. I’ve been dinning at Tokai Sushi for years and have never been disappointed. The quality of the sushi equals that of the best sushi restaurants in Irvine and the service is exceptional. Highly recommended!

For being inland and tucked into a shopping center, I was pleasantly surprised by the sushi/sashimi quality at Tokai. I’ve had the Sushi & Sashimi Dinner, which was a solid selection and the quality was great. I’ve also had the Washington Roll, Yellowtail Surprise Roll, and one with Escolar. The Escolar wasn’t as buttery as I like, but it was still delicious and all of the rolls were impressive. The service was good and the employees were friendly. Definitely making...

Update in 2023.I am back in a long time. The food is still very fresh and the roll are unique and delicious.Excellent sushi. Everything's fresh and tasty. Friendly and comfortable ambience. I think this will become one of my favorite sushi place.
