Food was pretty bland. Very little flavor for the carnitas.
Staff was nice.
Drinks (Frescas and Horchata) were good.
Price was a little high.

I'm a cancer/chemo patient!, I called and ordered a torta, I beg and ask nothing spicy, just the bread meat, beans and cheese. I explained that my system can't get spicy food. The food that I got was very spicy and got me sick with the first bite. I called and complained and instead of an apology, the employee got very rude and said for me not to come back and thet will block my phone . I just ask for my money back and gave them the food. I asked her twice, nothing spicy or hot!! She never mentioned that the sour cream had chili, the employee got very angry and advice me not to buy their food. What an human being!! Instead of advice me nicely, she got angry.

I dont do reviews. I have been in this restaurant plenty of times for their agua frescas and each and everytime, the employee’s and head of the establishment have the most stank attitude. Today’s experience was absolutely absurd. The Manager (head of establishment) has her son working the front. My friend and I were ignored for a good 5min before getting asked what i wanted. After paying i simply made the comment, next time try and greet your customers. Owner of the place SON responded with “i dont even work here like that”…are you not behind the register ringing up my drink?? proceeds with “i don’t really care about customer-“ as theres a NEW group of people, no CUSTOMERS in front of him. I walk away saying you should but okay, he decided to have a slick mouth and yell across the restaurant “you should lay off the sugar” (while other customers are seated and others waiting for their order to be taken). like HELLO?? …..
MORAL:
If you’re son doesn’t like working at your restaurant, don’t have him there.
If your son doesn’t have basic manners, do better.
IF YOUR SON “DOESNT LIKE CUSTOMERS”, (the people who are trying to enjoy their experience) DO NOT HAVE HIM WORKING THE FRONT. Simple.
Have a blessed day everyone 💕

My wife and I drove down from San Diego excited to try this spot. The food looked promising, but the waiter was pretty rude. I get that she hadn’t had a break, and that can put anyone in a bad mood, but we definitely didn’t deserve that attitude.

Got the Fontana torta which consist of “carne asada” it’s more like boiled beef. Meat had no seasoning and tasted like it’s been sitting in a hot plate all day. Dry and over loaded with yellow lettuce

Ordered some food on DoorDash and it turned out great. Very authentic not Americanized like many of the Mexican restaurants nearby.
Good food and variety 😋
My son and I go in there all the time. We're not even treated like a customer or treated more like a family member. The food is so authentic. It tastes like you're eating right at home. The portions are great. I look forward to every saturday and sunday of getting the fresh menudo.
the asada meat tasted like a wet dog… smelled like one too. just not good at all
Great service and good food
