Trusted the good reviews by mistake. I ordered the rigatoni bolognese in hopes of bolognese sauce not being soupy. Aside from my entree being below average the service was disappointing as well. Nobody asked if we needed anything or if the food was any good.

It's crazy how you can go to a "fine dining" restaurant like Mastros or SET for the white table linen and white glove service but the food could be mediocre at best! This restaurant has the best of both worlds; although we sacrificed white linens and big fancy wine glasses, you get in return some of the best flavored and textured food on the market. The pasta that I serve at the fine dining steakhouse I work at is soooooooooo gross compared to what you can get here for literally half the cost. I think a Mac n cheese or Rigatoni pasta at SET can run you $35, but here you can get an appetizer and entree for that price. Wow the flavors and quality do not disappoint! It was my second sip of wine where the ambiance finally got me; gives me Godfather vibes. There's low ceiling lights that are broken up by the arms of a the rotating fans. It gives such a mysterious and old school vibe. Id rather eat here, get great service and pay half the cost and go home with a fully belly and a huge smile on my face. I literally cannot wait to go back next Sunday for dinner!

It's a nice romantic restaurant. I stopped by here to try their salads as I'm trying to get myself to eat more veggies. The staff was friendly. They even served me a complimentary bread which is a must for a traditional Italian restaurant.

Special night for 3, or did I say ME! 3 plates later! A bottle of Vino deep. I was happy as a guy could be. The pizza was Top shelf, the staff was to fun and amazing, the vibe was authentic as could be for a strip mall. But the Colombian waitress made it all to fun! Happy! FOOD AMAZING

Never went wrong with anything we order. The pasta al forno is the best. The mushrooms and polenta with goat cheese ? amazing. Great size location, great atmosphere, nice staff..and again always whatever you order is the bomb. ???

This little place is by far THE BEST italian food in socal. my husband and i drive an hour to come and have date nights here, the vibes are amazing. not only is their food delicious, the coffee is amazing. all the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the service is great. this is definitely our to go spot for italian!

Made an attempt to try this place out with two people. But when we walked in, we were given the stink eye from the older woman who was seating. We literally just walked in, and I have no idea what caused her reaction. There was no line, no wait list, and open tables. She continued the grunt and look oddly at us. Maybe we didn't fit their vibe, but we were well-dressed. We had to ask what was wrong. She didn't say, then after a long time she said she could only seat us in a high top. Given the horrible treatment, we opted to walk away. Never coming back here.
Service was great. The bruschetta appetizer is large enough to share between 2 people. The dark lighting really sets a mood. Pasta was a little on the chewier side..would return to try more pastas!

After living in Italy for a couple years and traveling back frequently, I am extremely picky about Italian restaurants. This place completely surprised me. The food was amazing. You can tell the chef takes pride in the little details. I will make the trip back from Utah just to have the rosemary-lemon panna cotta again. Must try!!

Legitimate small business and authentic Italian spot. Came here many times when I lived around the corner, spoke Italian to the owners, enjoyed the ambiance. Everything is delicious but I particularly like the kale salad and rigatoni.
