The family has been going to Al's for over 14 years and there is no better local establishment for pizza. Al's New York stle pizza is exactlly like what you find in the Big Apple. The sandwiches are better than any other sub or sandwich place with fresher ingrediants. The pasta dishes have that authentic itilian taste, justa like mama used to make. However the best feature of Al's New York Cafe is the staff. Al the owner is a really nice guy, and the staff really care about what they are doing. If you have not eaten here yet, then its time you do! For those of us who have, we'll never go anywhere else.

Cool little hole in the wall. They have a killer deal $9 for two slices and a drink. I happened to be working down that way for a week and I went there at least three times. Their pizza is tasty!

I walk in, (my first time meeting there) and the sandwich Cheif (maybe part owner or owner) idk but he didn't smile. Turn off but he did make a good Italian submarine sandwich. One other thing is the boy tipped himself OR IT WAS AUTO TIPP of 3.01 that I haven't noticed until hours later upon looking at my reciept. My sandwich was 13.00 but paid over 18. So I called and the guy said my cashier at lunch accidentally hit tip🤥 but also said he thinks its automated tip. So which is it?? He did say he would refund the tip. Im still waiting. U will however call tomorrow to find out why they think they can automate a tip from customers who haven't tipped and not tell you. Thats shady and dishonest and I will never set foot in there again.

Al's is a takeout pizza parlor with a couple of tables in and out if you want to eat there. We frequent it all the time. I particularly like the crust on the pizza which is not too thick and not too thin. (Probably New York style? ya think?) Great Meat Lover's pizza and the Supreme is good too. They will fix your pizza 1/2 and1/2 if you order 2 or more toppings Lunch is great, a large slice of pizza and a drink for a very reasonable price. They are generous with their toppings and also offer salads, calzone, pasta and other fare. Not just pizza. I cannot say that I have ever had a bad pizza from Al's and I have had plenty!! They have vegetarian pizza but I don't know about Vegan or Gluten free. You have to ask.

I was just dropping off a delivery for this little hole-in-the-wall cafe, nothing more. It had been a long day at work, I hadn't eaten anything, and was ready to head out. As I was leaving, completely unprompted, the staff offered me and my girlfriend two pizzas and two drinks—completely on the house. No strings attached, just genuine kindness.
I didn’t even dine in or place an order, and yet they still showed that level of hospitality. That says a lot about the kind of people running this place. If they treat a delivery guy like family, imagine how they treat their regulars.
I’ll absolutely be coming back—not just because the pizza was solid, but because it’s rare to find places that lead with this much heart and generosity. Support local spots like this. They deserve it
