Not the true vibe of a sushi bar I was expecting. Best thing there was the soft shell crab hand roll. All my nigiri fell apart, cuts were off, fish was iffy fresh.

I love Ango Tei a lot! I've been going here for over 30 years. When I first went, I was a college student, but as time went by, I went with my daughter, now a college student, and she loved it too. Unfortunately, the original chefs are no longer there (most of them are retired) but it's still delicious.?However, some types of sushi are no longer available.

Hate to say that this place has changed. Food was not very good. It used to be at the old location. I wonder what changed?
Fish, soups, and service were good. Agadashi tofu was great. The biggest downside was that they didn't offer a sashimi combo platter. If that's not what you're looking for, then I highly recommend.

We called ahead to reserve a table. When we arrived, our server admitted she had given our reservation to someone else. It ended up okay because we wound up at Wafu Sushi instead, which was a truly lovely place with extremely sensitive service and beautiful decor, but I can't remember the last time I had service so bad.
Parking: there were a few spots on a Saturday night, so there's ample I'd say.

My husband was Japanese and he always said this is the best sushi and sashimi he'd ever having his life. Sherry and her staff will take amazing care of you. The freshest fish and dishes I've ever had. This is a regular stop for me.
