There’s a nice Asian restaurant with good-quality food, and you get to barbecue your own meal, which is really fun. The place is a bit small, but it’s nice overall. Their rice was also very delicious.

Woooowww very rarely do you find a Japanese restaurant that is truly Japanese in flavor, authenticity, and hospitality! Our waiter Setsuko was so kind to us and took her time to explain all the foods with detail. We got 3 meat platters and the beef tongue was amazing! Service was fast, efficient, and very very friendly, just like the ones I had in Tokyo.
Most authentic Japanese restaurant I’ve been to on this coast highly recommend!! I cannot wait to come back here and enjoy myself at Anjin. What a gem to find a slice of Tokyo in Orange County🔥🔥🔥

First of, this place isnt the biggest restaurant around that can support a lot of party. That being said the wait time is usually long. However, the food didn't disappoint and it was actually well portioned for its price. Maybe a bit on the expensive side but it was worthy. Service was good. 8/10 on that. They were nice and polite as any server should be. Got nothing negative to say about the place, recommend to anyone who has decent size wallet to check it out😅

we have been here for like ten times before and the experience was okay. They never asked for our IDs when we purchase any kind of alcohol.
This time we bring our own alcohol, asking them if we could drink our own and we would pay for an open bottle fee. They said if we do that, we need to show our ID.
At the time we don’t have ID with us so we asked if we can show pics of ID. They said no. Then we ask if we could buy any alcohol from them and they said no. We ask why didn’t they checked our ID so many times before, and the manager shout out loud: IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT, JUST GO HOME.

This was a very disappointing dining experience. The staff was extremely rude and confrontational, showing a complete lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. What’s even more unacceptable is their apparent discriminatory behavior toward non-Japanese guests, which made me feel truly unwelcome and uncomfortable. On top of that, the dining space is very cramped—tables are packed too closely together, leaving no sense of privacy and significantly detracting from the overall experience. I sincerely hope the management addresses these issues and creates a more respectful and comfortable environment for all customers.

I am a 20 years customer for this store. Tonight, they don’t take my take out order because I will be 1 minutes late after they closed I never complain their meat quality is not great as before due to the cost issue. Okay , I am not going back for sure . I rather fly to japan every two months and enjoy the more respectful service than Anjin.
