First time coming to this restaurant with my Japanese friends. It’s a small Japanese communities where we can get together eating and chatting! The staffs are very friendly and the head chef/owner is a very passionate person! And he was very accommodate-able person! Love it! 😍

Food is lack luster, tenshin fried rice is too salty/moist, the meat in subuta is too fat (like 60-70% pure fat), and the rice are not cooked well compared to standard Japanese restaurant.

Got the pork katsu curry and it is very disappointing. They are not known for this dish, so I give them 3 stars. The katsu was not a cutlet, instead just a piece of breaded pork. Meat needs to be pounded before it is deep fried but they do not. Tough to chew and does not taste like a cutlet should. The curry is not tasty either. I would recommend coco ichiban if you want good curry.

We had ramen. It was tasty. They have a wide variety of food offerings besides ramen so maybe our next time here we try some of those.
