We had a super nice happy birthday party here and the weather was lovely and the food was good I was disappointed they didn't have a full bar I was hoping to have a margarita. Very folksy back porch

This is a restaurant I stopped by on my way from Los Angeles to San Diego. I visited right at opening time, and when I asked kindly to wait a little longer, they gave me a menu. We ordered a variety of menu items and, as expected from America, the BBQ was so delicious!!! The owner kindly recommended travel destinations, telling me to go somewhere, and it was very pleasant and nice. If the weather is nice, it would be nice to eat outside!

This place fell off. 10+ years ago this place was a million times better. New ownership killed this place. I didn’t come here for 2 years over an incident when new ownership came in and I recently came back and it’s just as bad. The Mac and cheese used to be some of the best and it’s disgusting now.
I really liked it. Doesn't have much space now, but the food was very good - ribs, PP and something else. Two comments: 1. I would have swapped the dessert of the mixed plate for a real bread/roll and 2. the parking space is really tight - it's best to take the first place on the street.
❤️Looove this hidden Gem ? It's right in our backyard here in Costa Mesa, with the most welcoming customer service!! The staff had smiles and conversation, said hello to me and welcomed me! So glad I popped in instead of Uber Eats tonight!! Such a fun atmosphere, kinda felt like I was not in OC for a hot minute!? Excellent BBQ to boot ? You can eat here if Paleo, Keto or want to eat great food!! Great to eat in, plenty of fun seating or take it to go!!
