I wish I could give this six stars!! This place was amazing, the food the vibe and the service was the best I've seen in a long time. Marvin was the chef and made the best turkey I have ever had, it was juicy and tender and smokey, and all the other meats were the same. Christian greeted us as we were walking in and made us feel so welcomed and checked in all night making conversation that made the experience even better. We got the meat platter and it was a great price for such good smoked bbq. We finished with some amazing banana pudding for desert. I am definitely coming back here soon!!

A MUST TRY!! The food and the staff are AMAZING, and the restaurant itself is so cute. I've never had such tender turkey or juicy ribs in my life, and the banana pudding is to die for! Christian is the absolute most personable, fun waiter and Chef Marvin is so kind and fantastic at his job!! We will be coming back again 100000%. Love you Beach Pit BBQ!

Very underwhelming experience in comparison to many other BBQ spots. Ordered a Combo 2 to try the Ribs, Brisket, and Sausage and all three barely had any flavor.
The meats all lacked the smokiness that gives BBQ that added oomph. Even the blueberry cornbread lacked a spark.
The food was edible and meat tender but for the price you will get better BBQ driving a little further to the likes of Heritage or Bad To The Bone

OMG! I just had the Beach Pit cater my husbands 70th birthday event and they were Amazing!! They were attentive to every detail, fulfilled every request, I had. The set up was to perfection and my guests just raved of how wonderful the food tasted. Thank you so much Gary and Brian for making my party a success!!!

The owner of this place is a gem! The portions are really generous for a really great price! I got the 3 meat platter with two sides. Hard to come by these days. I will remember this place the next time I want take-out! The slaw, BBQ sauce and corn bread are really yummy. The sweet potato fries are good, I just prefer them a little crispier. These are on the soggy/floppy side. But again, tasty.

First Visit—easy to miss this hidden place—almost drove by as it’s set back off the street. Cute Patio. Helpful, friendly service. Appreciated Christian so much and his upbeat, positive, attentive care. Counter Order—they bring to your table. I ordered the Two Meat Plate (Pork, Brisket) with Two sides (Cole Slaw, Collards). The Collards were very tasty and not string vinegary! Cole Slaw has a nice vinegar based dressing and the Ranch dressing is yummy. Meats were decent—added the bbq sauce and that was good. They gave me some lettuce mix with tomatoes (as requested) in place of their corn bread since I’m on Keto right now. Sat on the patio—was a bit cool and Christian offered to bring a heater (without any prompting)! There were quite a few Take Out Orders being picked up while I was there—3:45-5:45 I’d recommend at least one visit!

Nice seating and atmosphere the staff are always kind even with our togo order they are very outgoing above and beyond! Made me wish we could have stayed and ate there. Thank you Beach pit! We were in town this past weekend and after living in Northern California the last 27 years are moving back to HB. We found this place through some people we knew. WOW the entire experience was what I have been looking for with amazing BBQ. The owner was so Incredible and thank you again for bringing me out that Jalapeño Cornbread! When we move back next spring this place will be our once a week spot.
