Had to leave! Made reservations for dinner but when we got to the restaurant, it looked like despite having empty tables, they had to “create “ a table to accommodate us. This table was such a tight fit that the guest sitting behind me barely enough room to move! It also placed my partner smack in the middle of a walkway where wait staff were trying to get food to the patrons. We asked to move to one of the vacant tables and were refused. So we left! I have a choice of hundreds of restaurants to enjoy dinner at...... comfortably seated! Won't be going back!
Make sure you arrive hungry! The portions are large, the food tasty, and service was excellent. Don't be fooled by the unique design of this restaurant - looks like they added to a fashionable takeout restaurant by adding a chic patio area that looks almost like a full indoor restaurant with full service menu. Takeout in the front and bei restaurant in the back and side.
A true gastronomical adventure in Lebanese food. Authentic cuisine served with the best creative touch. We keep coming back and introducing it to friends and family. Keep up the great work!!!
Loved the restaurant! Great venue for celebrations. The danser was amazing. The food was delicious. We had a wonderful time!
First time at Bei and the food was amazing! Its so hard to find a Middle Eastern restaurant nowadays with great food. Bei is an authentic Lebanese restaurant and a hidden gem in Costa Mesa. I will definitely come back! Everyone there is friendly, and Tommy our waiter provided excellent service. If you're a hookah lover its an absolute plus, because the hookah was so smooth and long lasting. Bei is such a vibe!
Great food and great atmosphere. We've been there multiple times and the food quality is always perfect.
The best Lebanese food in Orange County hands down! We've been to a few and glad we finally found Bei!! So many authentic options! Everything we ordered was fresh and high quality. We were a party of 6 and did the pre set menu tier 3. Soooo much good food and we got to try everything from appetizers, dips, and main bbq were delicious. We added the lamb chops a la Carte, as they were not included in the pre set menu and they were amazing! Don't skip on those! Service was great! Our waters were always filled and servers were kind and sweet. It does get really busy ( we came on a Friday), we waited about 10 minutes past our reservation time but it wasn't a big deal. Will be back soon! Thanks Bei!
Food was good Servers were good but way way backed up so service was very slow. Our food came after 40 mins Speakers were on high. It was so noisy and that we could barely talk And because of the noise everyone was super loud Drinks overrated and over priced Not going back
The live music by Anthony was amazing . We got the family platter; hummus. Labneh and rice - excellent and tasty. Ambiance was lovely .
Food was amazing! However, the place is a bit small and the waiters are overwhelmed and need more training.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bei, and it was truly a great experience! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy, yet elegant ambiance that made you feel like you were dining in Lebanon. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, and our server was knowledgeable, offering great recommendations based on our preferences. We started with the hot and cold Meza platter, and it was amazing. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh flavors. For the main course, we opted for the Bei Kebab platter, which was tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. Every bite was a taste of Lebanon! What truly stood out to me was the quality. You could taste the freshness in every bite, and the flavors were authentic. I highly recommend Bei to anyone looking to explore Lebanese cuisine. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean food or new to it, this place will have you craving more!
Went to BEI with girlfriends. Amazing food, great ambience and good service. A cute cosy place! We saw a lot of people having Hookah as well. Overall, great experience.
The host was rude and the server clearly did not want to be there. The music was so loud we could barely talk. We asked the host and server if they could lower the museum and both said no. The food was quite nice but overall it was a negative experience and we definitely won't return.
Great food , great music , Tommy the waiter did an awesome job, I highly recommend this restaurant.
I visited Bei Restaurant after being drawn in by its positive reviews and appealing photographs, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. The chicken kebab I ordered was overcooked, resulting in a burnt exterior and an unpleasantly bitter flavor. Additionally, the rice served as a side was overly watery and lacked seasoning, further detracting from the meal.
While the restaurant's ambiance was touted in the photos, the reality was less impressive. The combination of loud music and the noise from Harbor Blvd. traffic made for a less-than-ideal dining environment. I also found the prices to be quite high considering the setting, which felt more like dining in a decorated parking lot than a thoughtfully designed restaurant.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Bei Restaurant.
