The food and service were excellent. Such a beautiful restaurant the staff was so kind especially Tommy. Looking forward to coming here over and over again, so glad this is located in Orange County.
YES YES YES YES! A million times YES!
I am Lebanese and this is probably one of the best authentic middle eastern Lebanese places I’ve ever been to!
Flavor was on point, customer service was amazing, food was WOW and the ambience was very nice.
Come here with your eyes closed and don’t worry about a thing. You’re gonna have a great experience!

I was charged an extra service fee that didn’t apply to my party, and when I mentioned it to the waiter he seemed to already know about it. He told me he would fix it and he took my card, but when he gave me the receipt I saw that he still charged me for the service fee. I told him about this and I got the manager involved as well and it took a long time for them to remove this extra fee from the check. After the issue was resolved the manager pressed me for a tip, and when I refused, he followed me to my car while cursing at me and my family. I don’t recommend this place because of how terrible the service was.

Went to BEI for dinner. It’s in a nice location and has some parking spots in front of the restaurant and there is street parking as well. The restaurant looks good from the outside and is very nice from the inside. It wasn’t very crowded when we got there and we were promptly seated. Service was generally good and efficient.
They brought out fried pita and Zataar dip (in olive oil) and that was nice. We ordered our food and it came out reasonably quickly. The food looked very nice and the plating and presentation was great. However, I felt the taste was just ok. Again, it wasn’t bad and I can see how many people will find it excellent, but I felt that I’ve had better middle eastern food, even in the OC (maybe not in Newport Beach). And thats why I’ve only given it 3 stars. I will certainly go again, and I would encourage others to give it a try.

Had to leave! Made reservations for dinner but when we got to the restaurant, it looked like despite having empty tables, they had to “create “ a table to accommodate us. This table was such a tight fit that the guest sitting behind me barely enough room to move! It also placed my partner smack in the middle of a walkway where wait staff were trying to get food to the patrons. We asked to move to one of the vacant tables and were refused. So we left! I have a choice of hundreds of restaurants to enjoy dinner at...... comfortably seated! Won't be going back!
My family and I had a great time at Bei. Our server, Tommy, was very attentive and had great recommendations. We ordered the mezza sampler, samak bizri, and the mashawi platter. Everything was SO tasty and most importantly, fresh. They also had a belly dancer as entertainment while we there. I will definitely be back!

Make sure you arrive hungry! The portions are large, the food tasty, and service was excellent. Don't be fooled by the unique design of this restaurant - looks like they added to a fashionable takeout restaurant by adding a chic patio area that looks almost like a full indoor restaurant with full service menu. Takeout in the front and bei restaurant in the back and side.
Great Lebanese place in Costa Mesa. Really nice food, like it as much as the restaurants in Little Arabia. Definitely recommend the Muhammara, Pickle Platter, Stuffed Grape Leaves, and Rakakat. Thank you for the great service and delicious food!

Was quiet when we went. But the food was real clean and tasty. We had the mixed meat plate, rice, baba, and hummous with beef on. Deserts also real good, had the cookie and baklava. 10/10
