Cutest little place, our waiter was so kind and recommend drinks based off flavors we liked
Yummy wagyu sandwiche
Very unique place to eat! Right in the mall. Tasty and unique food. Music was played loud. If you don't mind Great place to eat
Came on a weekend to an almost empty restaurant. Ordered two appetizers and an entree. The bok and beet salad was almost there. It was the right ingredients in the wrong ratio. It was very beet forward while lacking the other ingredients. It would have been a superb dish if there had been more of the cheese, more of the citrus, and more of the pickled onions to contrast with the flavor of the beets. The poke tartar was much more tomato than fish and the wonton chips left something to be desired, that something was crunch. Tomatoes being so heavily water made the overall dish much blander than the poke most of us would expect. If only I could have reviewed the risotto I was looking forward to. It’s a pity I can’t since it never arrived. Service was personable but exceptionally slow. Soon after being seated, we were the only people at the restaurant. Despite this fact, the food came out slowly, the water should have been refilled much more frequently considering the exceptionally small water cups they use (we eventually grabbed the bottle and filled it ourselves), the table next to us was never cleaned even 30 min after the patrons had left it, we sat staring at our empty plates for a long time (probably 20 min), only to be asked if we would like our check. We pointed out that we were still waiting on our risotto. The server went to check on it. When they came back, they said the previous server forgot to put it in and they’re making it now. I pointed out that I’d been at waiting a long time already (at this point, we had been at the restaurant for close to an hour), and I did not want to wait 20+ min for a risotto to be made. They said they would check if it could be cancelled. I had to insist it be cancelled. I really don’t blame the server, they were very young. I support hiring people of all ages, but the manager needs to train them according to their experience. Bare minimum, you should train them to clear tables in a timely manner, check on water, check on patrons and if there’s been a big delay on a dish, you should check if the customers even want it anymore, you definitely shouldn’t assume they’d still want it after an hour. The restaurant seating is laid out awkwardly. The majority of the sit down seating is a long bench with small tables. Most of those tables won’t allow you to dine across from your dining companion because they say you’ll block the walkway. They didn’t purchase enough chairs for you to seat two chairs to a table and won’t let you use another table’s chairs (again, the restaurant was EMPTY). The tables are turned so that the chair is against the smaller width. They expect you to fit two place settings on two adjacent sides at a bistro size table. The patio is also right up against the parking lot and I was fed up with the revving of engines by the end of the hour I was there. My three stars are generous and really just a testament to how personable the servers tried to be. Would not recommend unless changes were made.
Poke tartar was amazing. Chicken risotto was good but a little disappointing after the poke tartar. Montepuciano wine was great. It was a little chilly outside but they have blankets at the ready for anyone who needs it.
Amazing food! We got the poke tartar - great spicy twist, caprese - bomb creamy pink pesto, fried portabelo - the aoli was delicious, and the wagyu sandwich - amazing meat and bread! Our server Karl was also lovely! Definitely recommend!
Every year, I got to drive down to OC from the Bay for High School or College Reunion at least once. This time for Cal Poly Reunion over the holidays. My friend gave me a tour on South Coast Plaza at Christmas and it was amazingly beautiful. He took me to the food court in Bloomingdale's that has so many nice restaurants, mostly Asian Fusion instead of going to the VN town for VN food. We just wanted to have a light lunch before a nice dinner later that day.
Blossoms & Brass we tried.
The place is quite small, not many tables, but you can sit outside to have fresh air or NOT LOL. It's clean, modern, hip IMHO. The menu is quite simple. So what should we get. Wagyu Sandwich, $20 is quite reasonable in this beautiful shopping center.
This is one of the best sandwiches of any kind I've had so far. The bread was amazingly crispy and soft prepared. The beef was tender and marinated just right, so tasty. The chips were crispy and need more because I can't stop munching.
I was glad my friend took me here, tried new restaurant, and great food for a reasonable price.
The service was attentive and excellent.
I'll try something new next time I'm down here or NOT. Still remembering the bread and the beef.
A must! Drinks are on point and food is just right. A must place to have a drink and but before some shopping. Lauren, our bartender provided us with tasty drinks and pleasant attention.

The techno music coming out of this place is giving me a raging migraine I’m about to have a heart attack. I’ll never have a drink here again I’m about to loose my mind…

Restaurantji Recommends
Nice vibe-y place to stop off for a cocktail. Tucked away in the corner but there are plenty of clear signs pointing the way. Most of their cocktails had an Asian bent: miso, ume, shiso, etc.
Nice enough staff too.

Blossoms & Brass at South Coast Plaza is a stunning bar/restaurant that masterfully blends European elegance with whimsical Asian touches…. the ambiance alone is worth the visit!
Highly recommend the Delizia Sour and Coco High Ball cocktails, and start out with the Poke Tartar appetizer. GREAT flavor with homemade wonton chips!
For the main courses, the Blossoms Rigatoni offered a unique twist - it was pink pesto- while the Wagyu was rich and flavorful, paired with a mushroom sauce.
We ended our meal with a layered Chocolate Cake, which had so many different textures in it! From soft to crunchy, all garnished with little gold specks. Pretty!
Really recommend this place!! Such a hidden gem at South Coast!

I recently went here with a friend for happy hour. Everything we got ranged from mediocre to terrible. My friend got the Thai me up cocktail, which had zero Thai tea flavor. It just tasted like an espresso martini, which isn’t what they ordered. We both like the coco highball cocktail I ordered well enough, but it wasn’t a standout compared to others I’ve gotten elsewhere. We decided to order a couple of small plates to share as well - the calamari and fried bok choi. The calamari tasted bland except for the sauce that was already spread on top. I would’ve preferred it on the side. The bok choi tasted awful. It was pickled and very tart, which just didn’t suit the bok choi at all. The breading was sort of stiff and lightly seasoned. Altogether, the ingredients and preparation of the bok choi clashed. Overall, I found this place a little underwhelming and wasn’t impressed with the options.

I saw this place when I went shopping. Drinks are amazing. Music that they play makes you feel like you somewhere else. Fist time in a long time that I felt like going to expensive place is worth it. Will be coming back. Going to try the happy hour.
