they messed up my order, was on the phone with the manager and was met with a bad attitude and no apology for the inconvenience. get better management please

It's super annoying to have to get home to a missing item that i paid for after just getting out of the hospital. its also annoying to get a sarcastic response from the owner when I was respectful with your manager she didn't give a crap about my order. keep my money. I got here at 3pm and they said they're closed. The website, Google and the front door says they close at 8pm but now they say they close at 3pm. Lame. 👎

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION unless you want to hang with a LOT OF COSTA MESA COPS. MAJOR COP HANGOUT. Most people who have any real world experience know that cops always have their own bars and always hangout with other cops because most law abiding people are uncomfortable being around them. They are here every day/night and not just eating but swilling beer and watching sports for hours and then of course DRIVING. I don't hate or even dislike all cops, there are a few good ones, and they are necessary, but let's all be honest, there's a reason that even most little ol' church ladies don't like and are afraid of them. The staff is awesome, the food OK.

We came here while in Costa Mesa and I got the Italian Sub. It was SOOOO good even 2 days later it tasted the same as in the shop and wasn't soggy from the dressing! We also got their honey blonde beer and it was delicious too 😋 we ended up getting a 4 pack and enjoyed it in the cans too. If we are ever back out this way, we will be back!

8.28.24 the waitress kept chatting with men at the bar and ignored me standing in front of the cashier waiting to order. There was no eye contact or acknowledgment until she finally gave in.. everyone else is busy, except you.
It is NOT a dating bar.
Sandwiches are still excellent. So glad the waitress doesn't working in the kitchen.

Best - Grill Beef Spicy and Beef Dip
Good, but I can't taste the difference and less meat to be $2 more - Baja Beef.
1 negative star - The pre calculated Tip includes Sales Tax.. WHY?? Why do you need to scam customers for the extra few cents tip??

The catering service for our son’s first birthday was A HIT!!!! Everyone has been asking me all the details of your place. It was very EASY to order, and the two times I called we had great customer service. Thank you for making the hardest part the easiest! 10/10 such great Sandwiches and potato salad!!

I absolutely love Board & Brew! Fantastic place to grab a quick bite for lunch. I am wheat intolerant and their gluten-free wrap is absolutely perfect. I usually get the chicken club and substitute it with the wrap and get extra sauce. Service is fast and I've never had any issues. Store is always clean with plenty of seating.
