I've been to other Boba Guys in California specifically the one in San Francisco, Long Beach, And when they had one in Berkeley as a pop up in the early beginnings. It's in the same area as the lab of Costa Mesa so the aesthetic is like hipster. I was looking for another place that served matcha and I remember that this place opened in Orange County. I happened to get strawberry matcha and the mango matcha latte. I would say strawberry matcha is pretty standard. Mango matcha latte was pretty good! What I didn't like so much was that we had to order from the kiosk and I would have preferred ordering from an actual person. Also there were a ton of teenagers that were trying to order from the kiosk and didn't know what they were doing and no one was helping them. I guess it's getting more of a chain feeling, but feel free to check it out if you're in the mood for mid-tier boba. Like everything is freshly made, but I think is more catered to an American audience versus Asian American audience.
Excellent service and products! Besides this place takes care of environment, they are very professional, attentive, get your order right and ask for details when you order drinks. Absolutely love them! Thank you.
4/5, recent menu included in the review with prices. The atmosphere is unique, its an open area with ample seating, they have a kiosk where you can order. We had the strawberry matcha latte, korean banana milk drink, and thai tea. All were very tasty, the korean banana one is an acquired taste. Store is next to 2nd street thrift store. Good spot for boba, inside the camp. Parking is difficult to find however during peak hours. I wish they gave free water cups :(

Visited Boba Guys for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed! Their drink selection was impressive. The Thai tea I ordered was amazing- rich and flavorful, just the way I like it. I couldn’t resist trying one of their signature drinks, the Korean Banana Milk was a delightful and unique treat. I got my drink in no time, service was fast. Even though the seating was outside, it was cozy and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax. I can’t wait to come back and try more flavors. Highly recommend Boba Boys for anyone looking for a fantastic boba experience!

friendly service. Decent drinks. Since it’s sort of an outdoor area, dust and leaves are everywhere

Boba Guys is one of my favorite spots, especially as a vegan. I ordered matcha (without honey) with oat milk and boba, and it was really good. Over the years, I have had multiple drinks, and I have never had one I did not like. Truly vegan boba and milk teas are often hard to find, but Boba Guys uses a vegan creamer and does not use honey in their boba (although they do have honey as a sweetener, so verify your drink doesn’t have it). The staff is vegan aware, and there are also vegan guides online.
Went here last weekend. I had ordered a double hojicha. I noticed something was off with the drink so the bobarista remade it. It came out perfectly the second time. Outstanding customer service!

I ordered the pandan caramel milk tea and it was the worst beverage I've ever tasted! It is overcooked super bitter tea with absolutely no taste of pandan or caramel at all.

I tried out a couple different drinks.. the sesame latte but with oat milk & it was very ginger-y even after I mixed it around a bunch. I went back and they offered to make me a new drink and I chose the rose black tea with no milk. It tasted okay but as I kept drinking it really tasted like a candle store..The service was exceptional but their drinks are not great.I didn't really feel like I got my money's worth, but at least I tried it.

Wow!…double wow!!I’ve had a lot of boba tea and been to a lot of boba places in different countries, but I think in the OC this is my new favorite.Came on a Saturday around 3pm and there was a small line of about 10 people. Ordering was quick due to the two cashes with one being cashless. It’s located in the CAMP mall and getting your boba and strolling through the stores is a must.Ordered a matcha strawberry and what a great combo this was. I recommend not mixing this and savouring the different layers as you sip. I took mine with oat milk which cuts the sweetness to the perfect level. My second drink was the horchata and the trick with this is to let the ice melt a little to get the perfect balance of sweetness.Naturally I signed up for Boba Guys rewards program cause I will be coming back often.

My husband just picked up two boba there, and one of them has 0 boba in it, and he did not say no baba. I tried to call the shop for assistance, but I couldn't find their number on Google. Boba tea has no boba in it? So what's the point?!
