The food was absolutely amazing!! I got some dairy free pancakes and they were some of the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten!! And our waiter, James, was awesome!! He was so funny and so sweet, he kept making us laugh a bunch. I absolutely recommend this place if you ever want to come to a cool looking restaurant with delicious food and super nice people!!
Love this spot. Recommend the potatos with anything
our favorite place for breakfast/brunch. every item on the menu is amazing. choose whatever and you will never be dissapointed
This was our first ever visit to this restaurant. If you decide to eat here, be prepared to fight for parking spots because there are a limited few available. Also, it isn't a big place, so it can feel crowded while eating here. The service was good. We had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table to become available, which isn't bad. We were actually offered drinks of our choice while we waited to be seated. I thought that was cool. The atmosphere wasn't anything fancy. Just your typical mom and pop style breakfast place. The food was okay. We had the Protein Pancakes, which were good, but had a little too much chai pudding on top. We also had the Brioche French toast, which was good. And the Frittata, which my wife did not like. Apparently, it just wasn't prepared properly. Overall, it was just an okay experience, and we will probably look at another option to have breakfast the next time we are in the Costa Mesa area.
I will definitely be coming back. The service was great (Thanks Jack). The food was incredible. They have delightful vegan options (the vegan tres leches pancakes were awesome). The potatoes must be cooked in coconut oil with how crispy and tasty they were. Seasoned perfectly (I like salty food, so take that with a grain of salt... Literally)
We got the jalapeno cheddar omelet and harvest omelet and both were amazing.
This is a wonderful place with good food and fine service. I came with a friend and we enjoyed breakfast. Everything was tasty and the prices are moderate.
Wow, this is my new favorite breakfast spot in Orange County. The brussel sprout potatoes were fantastic! As was the service. Obviously well managed and a talented kitchen staff. No biscuits & gravy option, but otherwise perfect. I can’t wait to return to try the French Toast.
Love the Chilaquiles and the protein pancakes. Great service of Lucia
Seems like a very popular place. We came on a weekday after the breakfast rush with only 1 waitress - it was kind of slow. The menu options were great. The was very tasty and fresh + but it came out kind of cold. The waitress does not bring the food which is confusing sometimes since the person delivering doesn't know who ordered what. Other than that everything was awesome.
Parking: It's a tight fit

I saw the great reviews in Google. Frankly, I do not get the over-the-top rating. First, the food is OK, not bad, but nothing special. To be fair, if you are just getting a couple of scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon, and toast, I was not expecting Eggs Benedict. I was dining inside; it is a bit dated and drab. People seem to flock there for the outdoor seating. The waitress was nice, she did a good job. But, this 30'ish sleepy dude that brings the food out has the personality of an infected bellybutton. He does not answer questions and seems to hate his job. Maybe, his dog died the day that I was there, who knows? I tried being nice to him and he just turned his back and walked off when I asked for more syrup. I have lived in CM for 40 years and can say this was a place that does not even measure up to any of the fast food joints. I will never go back and will tell people about my bad experience.

This breakfast spot offers a decent but unremarkable dining experience. While the food is satisfactory, it lacks any distinctive flavors or stand-out dishes. Additionally, the prices are relatively high considering the portion sizes, especially when compared to other breakfast establishments in the area. Locals might find it an acceptable option in a pinch, but tourists seeking a memorable breakfast experience will likely be disappointed. Overall, this restaurant is just okay, earning a 3-star rating for its average food and inflated prices.

This was my first visit and I enjoyed it very much.
The service was great. There was a wait, but not too long. It was my little niece and I.
She ordered 1 pancake & 4 slices of bacon with apple juice. She's a picky and light eater, but she ate practically all her food. So kudos to y'all!! She felt grown up with her glass of apple juice. Lol
I ordered the Shrimp and Grits sans the corn. FYI y'all, Corn doesn't belong in shrimp and grits. It also had gouda cheese. The shrimp were cooked well. I ordered the egg over medium. That was cooked well also. Never had shrimp and grits with egg either. It was pretty good.
The server was nice and friendly. He was attentive and helped make my choice of beverage easy. I had an iced mocha drink. It was delish!
We sat inside. You can sit at their bar, or they also offer outside seating. It's a cool laidback kinda place.
Can't wait to come back and try something else. Also, you don't need reservations, they take Walkens!! Lol. IYKYK!! I love that!!
Vegetarian options: There is also a Vegan section.
