Happy to have a Bruxie back in this part of OC after the one in Irvine closed. But, someone needs to train their kitchen staff better. Ordered a Bacon & Egg waffle breakfast sandwich and got a soggy grease bomb. Instead of the usual thin coating of mayo on the waffle to protect it from moisture, there was a super generous blob of it between the egg and the cheese. So the mayo melted/split and soaked the waffle. Stodgiest thing I’ve ever had from them. Someone needs to make the Costa Mesa kitchen staff watch Alton Brown’s tutorial on scientific sandwich construction. May have to keep hitting the Bruxie in Orange if the Costa Mesa one doesn’t improve.

Bruxie Restaurant is an absolute delight for anyone who enjoys a creative twist on classic comfort food. Located in a charming spot, this eatery stands out with its innovative menu centered around their signature waffle sandwiches, offering a unique and delicious dining experience that is hard to match.

From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to provide recommendations or accommodate any dietary preferences. The open kitchen concept allows you to watch as your meal is expertly prepared, adding to the overall experience.

The menu at Bruxie is a gastronomic adventure, with each dish showcasing their signature light and crispy waffles as the perfect vehicle for a variety of delicious fillings. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Waffle sandwich is a must-try, featuring juicy, perfectly seasoned chicken paired with crunchy, airy waffles that strike the perfect balance between savory and sweet. For those looking for something a bit different, the Prosciutto & Gruyère Waffle is a delightful combination of rich, savory flavors.

The sides are equally impressive, with options like their crispy, golden waffle fries and fresh, vibrant salads that complement the main dishes perfectly. The dessert menu is also a standout, with sweet waffle creations that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. The S’mores Waffle, in particular, is a decadent treat that is not to be missed.

Bruxie also boasts a great selection of beverages, including craft sodas and local beers, making it an ideal spot for both casual lunches and relaxed dinners. The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying a meal on a sunny day, adding to the overall charm of the place.

In conclusion, Bruxie Restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a unique dining experience that combines comfort food with a creative twist. The exceptional food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere make it a place you’ll want to visit again and again. Highly recommended!

The waffles and chicken are delicious! It was out to me in record timing! The presentation of the food was spot on. The service was exceptional! I will definitely return for another great experience.

Delicious waffles and shake!A little slow, but it was unusually busy on a day where a skeleton crew should have been plenty.

Vegetarian options: I'm told there used to be a mushroom sandwich and a pesto offering... seems they've cut those from the menu.I would only recommend a vegetarian goes if they want a dessert option (think strawberry and chocolate).

Parking: It's in a mall, so there's plenty of outdoor parking.

I brought my friend to the Athens, GA location to have him try the Waffle Sandwich. We went to order and I let my friend order and went to the bathroom. After speaking to the kid at the register he was talked into the Hot Honey Chicken flavored sandwich. He specifically pointed to the Chicken and Waffle sandwich on the ordering board and said he wanted the Hot Honey flavor on the chicken. After waiting for our order the kid brought out two Chicken sandwiches on buns. I questioned my friend and asked if he ordered our sandwiches on Waffles. He said he thought he was pretty clear that he wanted the Waffle Sandwich. We called the kid over and said sorry the Hot Honey comes on a bun. Never offered to even bring us a waffle to replace the bun. We just ate them as is and they were okay. The chicken was pretty hot with a real kick. Would have loved to had it with a Waffle. The cost was also pretty expensive for a simple chicken sandwich and waffle fries came to around $34. We left pretty disappointed and my friend, who was a first timer said he won’t be back. I don’t think I will either.

South coast plaza can be a little wild, and the area bruxie is in was a little louder than I prefer. But the staff was excellent, there was a minor mistake with our order but it was corrected promptly. And everything was delicious. Great food, amazing service, and clean places to eat.

I just had one of the tastiest breakfast meals in a long while. The Holy Chicken was incredible and their seasoned tots are solid. Their cold brew drinks are also top notch. I ordered from Uber Eats so I can't say anything about the atmosphere or the service in-person but the food there will satisfy any craving. Definitely give this place a try! I will definitely order from here again in the future.
