Delicious chicken and waffles. So fresh and crispy, well seasoned. They also have great service!

Bruxie at South Coast Plaza is located in Bloomingdale's along with other vendors.
We ordered The Crispy, tenders, loaded waffle fries, and a grilled chicken salad.
The CRISPY sandwich was well seasoned perhaps a tad too salty for me however it was nicely crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Honestly $13 for just the chicken sandwich (no fries and no drink) is wild to me.
The Nashville hot TENDERS were tasty and not hot at all, just mild and the waffle fries were very good.
The LOADED WAFFLE FRIES were delicious and coated in sauce and bacon bits. Plentiful to share.
GRILLED CHICKEN SALAD could feed two people. The dressing was drizzled on and topped off with avocado slices, a sliced hard boiled egg, diced tomatoes, cheese, and bacon bits.
Two chicken sandwiches, 3 tenders, loaded waffle fries, and a salad was a whopping $70. Dipping sauce was .60

The most important part about a waffles place should definitely be the waffle ... unfortunately they were bland, comparable to Bisquick. The chicken was good at least which carries the sandwich. The mac and cheese is just Ok....pretty basic, with a very generic buffalo sauce flavor.

I waited 10 min patiently for the cashier to take my order, and it made me very upset since they gave me the wrong food for dine in, and the cashier misunderstood the order when she took it after I made myself clear. I also had to wait an additional 20 min for my order to be ready. I ended up going to let them know that they gave me the wrong order. One of the cashiers wanted to give me a new order, but I said it was fine since I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for my food. So I ended up eating food I didn't like that was already paid for. So, heads up, don't go, all the cashiers are young teenagers without communication skills.

Easily the best fast (not fast food!) food place in the mall and I’d go hear even if I wasn’t at the mall!

Delicious, well-seasoned chicken. Kids menu value is great. Combo meal being an additional $6 is kinda crazy tho.

Happy to have a Bruxie back in this part of OC after the one in Irvine closed. But, someone needs to train their kitchen staff better. Ordered a Bacon & Egg waffle breakfast sandwich and got a soggy grease bomb. Instead of the usual thin coating of mayo on the waffle to protect it from moisture, there was a super generous blob of it between the egg and the cheese. So the mayo melted/split and soaked the waffle. Stodgiest thing I’ve ever had from them. Someone needs to make the Costa Mesa kitchen staff watch Alton Brown’s tutorial on scientific sandwich construction. May have to keep hitting the Bruxie in Orange if the Costa Mesa one doesn’t improve.

Delicious waffles and shake!A little slow, but it was unusually busy on a day where a skeleton crew should have been plenty.

Vegetarian options: I'm told there used to be a mushroom sandwich and a pesto offering... seems they've cut those from the menu.I would only recommend a vegetarian goes if they want a dessert option (think strawberry and chocolate).

Parking: It's in a mall, so there's plenty of outdoor parking.
