Really likes the Paella... Which is a big pan filled with rice, spices and meat or fish of your choice. We happened to go on Sundays mmm... Their slow days so the pans are all half off! Great deal in any case as the pans are so big that the family size can feed 3 normal people (not teenage basketball players, mind). Tastety, and you can still around the promenade afterwards to help settle down all the food and spirits. Movie@ starlite đ˝ď¸ cinema afterwards? Good date!

Great service. Some of the freshest and best Ceviche I've had in the states and the Paella some of the best out there. Had a few glasses of Sangria and it was good but, strong . The Sangria crept up on me and can't forget the tasty flavorful Empanadas. The beef ones were my personal favorite.

Food was great the live salsa music with DJ was great. We ate at the bar and service at the bar could have been better. It's annoying when we have to flag down a bartender at the bar like we're invisible. Fun place that I would recommend it.

Me and 2 other friends went there on a Sunday and we were immediately seated . Great atmosphere and people were actually having so much fun. Some were dancing and then a band was playing Latin music. Food was excellent from the Tapas to the Paellas and the churros and Crema Catalana was to die for . Tapas and Paellas were half off. For the quality of the food, definitely we got our moneyâs worth. Will definitely go back and already planning to bring my other friends over. Cant stop talking about this place

Cafe Sevilla in Costa Mesa is such a fun and lively spot! The customer service was superb, and the interior made it feel like a special night out. I went for the flamenco dinner and show, and everything from the food to the cocktails was excellent â the set menu included fresh, flavorful dishes like colorful salads, paella, salmon, short rib, and cheesecake. They also have a regular restaurant area outside with live music, which looked amazing even though I didnât try it. I honestly donât know why more people donât know about this place â itâs a hidden gem for a memorable night out.

Disappointing Group Dining Experience â Not Worth the Price
We visited CafĂŠ Salvilla in Costa Mesa with a group of 13 people, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We were left waiting for over 1.5 hours before anything meaningful was served. Initially, one staff member briefly explained the beverage menu and then disappeared. We had to ask multiple times just to get water, and they only brought one small bottle that barely filled four cups for the entire group. More water was finally brought when the food was servedâafter a long wait.
During the evening, the lights went out and came back on twice, and not a single staff member acknowledged it, apologized, or offered any explanation. It added to the overall feeling of disorganization and lack of care.
After the long delay, they brought out bread and sauce and finally took beverage orders. It was clear they were severely understaffed and not prepared to handle a large group.
The menu was very limited and confusingâonly 3 or 4 options, each meant to serve four people. Dishes were not served together, and no one explained how the courses would work. There were also no serving utensils, which made sharing plates concerning from a hygiene standpoint.
We were told that three meal orders would be enough for the group, but in reality, five people had to share a dish meant for four. Everyone was still charged the sameâ$48 per person. With tax and tip, the total came to $62 per person. That kind of price might be reasonable for excellent service and a smooth experience, but this was far from it.
While the food itself was decent, the service, wait time, and overall experience did not justify the cost. For $62 per person, you can have a much better meal elsewhere. I wouldnât recommend this place for group dining.

Really sad this place used to be somewhere I loved to take any company that came to visit, now not so much. There was no host to welcome anyone, when the host finally did come he looked like he hated his life. The server was nice but working too many tables, he was sweating trying to get to everyone but he couldn't. Food came out before water. We asked the waiter, the bus boy and the bartender for the water but no luck. They used to have a nice bar but apparently now none of the taps work for draft beers and the drinks are just mixes instead of real fresh squeezed juice. The food was good but used to be great. I'm not sure when they started going downhill but I hope they can get it back to what it used to be.

Food is horrible, my food was even cooked, had the worst food poisoning Iâve ever had
My disappointment regarding a troubling experience I had at your establishment onJuly 27th. During our visit, a bartender named Alex behaved in an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful manner. After he accidentally broke a glass, some of us clapped in a light-hearted way â a common gesture in bar settings. In response, Alex called me a âloser,â which was both inappropriate and offensive.
I was further disheartened when I brought this incident to the attention of the female manager on duty. Instead of addressing the issue with understanding or offering an apology, she defended Alex and dismissed our concerns. This lack of accountability made the situation feel even more disrespectful.
I believe hospitality staff should be held to a professional standard, and unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the kind of environment that encourages customers to return. If employees do not enjoy their work, it should not be taken out on paying guests who are simply trying to enjoy their time.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the matter appropriately. An apology and reassurance that this type of behavior will not be repeated would be appreciated.
Nice popular restaurant and dance club in Costa Mesa / Newport Beach area. I canât believe that this is the first time we have been to this seemingly popular place. We came on a Sunday evening to celebrate a birthday party. We had reservations and our take was ready but we didnât like the table and they accommodated us outside with combing a few other tables. You can bring your dog if you are sitting outside which is very convenient. It was happy hour (before 7) all tapas are half off. I had their short rib tacos for dinner which was very tasty. Only complaint would be that the chimichuri made it super oily. I also tried the lamb sliders that were delightful. On toasted ciabatta bread with caramalizes onions. The Brussels sprouts were out of this world. I had only one piece. My wife got the paella. She rated it (4/5). Mainly I deducted a star given the fact that as soon as we sat down the told us that the were out of seafood. So our paella had mushrooms on top instead of shrimp ;)
We enjoyed the live music at the bar and at the same time there was a dancing session going on in the main ballroom. Coming again if they fix the seafood issue ;)

Even though the decoration, the food and the waiter was quite good.... They made us to pay 10 dollars just to sit on a table to eat...
After the dinner we tried to go inside of the club side....but made us to pay 5 again for a stamp to reentry
And last and worst of all, the atmosphere was not cool we were made felt not welcome and when we try to get out to the car to get some cash the bouncer said we were not able t reentry back again after that.... considering that we are both Spanish and we thought finding a Spanish restaurant would make us feeling like home. We are not coming back and I don't recommend any other Spanish people going there, people will make you fell you are not welcome...
PD the photographer was nice too

Just average. Had high expectations from the reviews but the food and atmosphere were just OK. Service also seemed a bit slow and there weren't many customers there when we went.
