2nd time trying this place .. sadly the food did not impress us both times! The noodle was just mehh and so was the congee!

Review: Singapore Noodles with Shrimp

I was pretty excited when this colorful plate of Singapore noodles hit the table—it looked like a spicy tangle of golden goodness. The vibrant yellow hue hinted at curry powder, and it didn’t disappoint. The flavor was bold, slightly smoky, and just spicy enough to keep things interesting without overwhelming the dish.

The shrimp were generously sized and cooked perfectly—tender with a nice sear. The noodles were well-stir-fried, not greasy, and had that satisfying springy texture. Bean sprouts added a fresh crunch and balanced out the richness, while slices of red bell pepper gave a nice pop of sweetness.

Presentation-wise, it came on a funky plate with Asian calligraphy that added a bit of flair. Portion size? Massive—definitely enough to take some home for later.

Overall, this dish was a winner. If you’re craving something savory, spicy, and loaded with texture, it hits all the right notes.

I take my niece in law here whoever she comes to visit. She really likes this place, and so do I. Prices are great for the quality and taste! Definitely give this place a try.

If you’re cruising through and need a quick pit stop, Capital Noodle gets the job done. Food? Good. Service? Good. Mind-blowing? Not exactly, but hey — sometimes you just need a solid bowl of noodles without all the fireworks. I was en route to LA, running a quick errand, and decided to pop in for a bite. It’s exactly what you want when you’re on the move: fast, easy, and satisfying enough to keep you rolling. Would I detour here on purpose? Probably not. But for a quick lunch while passing through? Absolutely.

The food was not bad but it just wasn’t a wow factor. I ordered the capital bowl and Hong Kong Chow Fun. The bowl was good, great meat and noodles. The broth was bland I wished there was more seasoning in it though or spice levels. The service was kind and respectful. Food also came out really fast was I really liked. And the restaurant in itself was a really pretty place.

Service was friendly and incredibly fast, but the restaurant only had a few people in it. Food was good but the glaze used was too strong, the taste of soy sauce covered the filet mignon and the garlic noodles too much. Glad I got to try this place, I'd come back to test their Pho and Dim Sum.

This is our go-to restaurant for business dinners. We have been going here for years. The steak are top notch but I do recommend the lamb chops.

We come here every time we are in the area. And even taken day trips just to come and eat here. Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing. Return Factor 110%. I highly recommend
