Not sure why the reviews complain about service so much. Maybe you should just pick a drink and not get endless customizations. =)
Service was prompt. It gets crowded so the wait is understandable. Got the Sri Lanka Ceylon Latte and Da Hong Pao. Drinks were nice just enough tea/creaminess, and not overly sweet at 100%.

The drinks are great! But unfortunately one of the staff members (with short black hair) was very rude. We were there to pick up drinks and he barely said a word and seemed very impatient & annoyed when passing the drinks over to us. I won’t come back to this store and wouldn’t recommend anyone either.

I recently visited Cha Redefine in Costa Mesa and found the drinks to be satisfactory. However, our experience was marred by the unfriendly behavior of a staff member. Despite arriving well before closing time at 8:45pm 05/31, we were met with rudeness from a particular employee (short black hair, wearing a hat and glasses). This kind of attitude is unacceptable in customer service. Unfortunately, due to this experience, we won't be returning to this location.

This is my second time coming to this location and “helped” by the same worker. Thomas B. is extremely rude to customers and gives attitude for simply not understanding their menu style. He banged on the side of register to get our attention while we were still looking over the menu and continued to stare at us. He always has a negative presence and makes the experience not worth the boba.

Visited this Cha Redefine at South Coast Plaza and it did not disappoint. Cha Redefine is in the food hall inside Bloomingdales (by their home section). My sister ordered the blueberry oat milk matcha latte and I ordered the fresh orange green tea; and we both thoroughly enjoyed our drinks.
Be prepared to wait some time for your drinks as they are not fully staffed compared to their other locations in Rowland Heights and Pasadena...it will be all worth it when you get your drinks.
