Today was our last day at Coco's bakery restaurant in Costa Mesa. I've been coming here since I was like eight years old. My favorite salad dressing was from here, my favorite club sandwich with Parmesan bread was from here. The banana pies were the bomb with real bananas. The best server was Juan! He was the best, always kind, hard worker, and managed the place so well @ night! My kids and family will miss the Tuesday night specials. Thanks for the wonderful memories, amazing old-school music, wonderful & hard-working staff. Very sad to hear that this whole area will be torn down and be turned into apartments in the future. I had a feeling it was going to shut down. We will miss coming here with my kiddos. My youngest would always say "Coco" he loved it there!!

I wanted to try something different, mom loves IHOP. I brought her to Coco's and was a little disappointed. Although the server was nice, the place looked dingy. When the food came, I'd ordered steak and eggs, the steak was dry. I paid a little north of $40 for mine and her Senior breakfast.

Great place to go have breakfast, lunch or dinner. I go get dinner and the food comes out the way you want it and comes out hot and not cold, but the great thing is on Wednesday free pieces of pie ? with you meals and you can take a whole pie with you as well, great service and plenty of places to sit down. I give it two thumbs up ? ?

Amazing service. Max was the waiter, he was very attentive. Food was great. Recommended 100%. Mostly because of the great service. I got the broccoli chicken alfredo.

The drinks taste like a sloppy dry soda the food I am scared but it's I am scarf to eat again from here

The place was open for breakfast at 7:00 a.m., with a polite waitress, hot coffee and the level of food I would expect from Coco's. Good, but not like your small town cafe (ex: Old Town Cafe Seal Beach). I was waiting for a car to be serviced and working from my laptop which was no issue. Waitress was happy to let me sit sipping coffee after my meal and working. I appreciate that.

We had a great meal rhe other night. The portions were just the right size for us. The salad was bigger than my wife thought but very tasty dressing on the spicy chicken salad. The chicken fried steak is my favorite. I ways ask for extra gravy. Of course, we always have to have a slice of pie, apple, peach, pumpkin or banana cream.

Haven't been to cocos in almost 20 years. Is as good as I remember it. My steak was great, all of our breakfast was delicious. Service was good and friendly.

Ordered a couple of salads, one was Asian. The lettuce was in very long strips on the bottom. The top was covered with wonton strips marinated in a massive amount of dressing. A few pieces of dried square chicken. Literally burned my mouth bc the dressing was so strong and heavy. The Cobb salad had large chunks of lettuce, very dry chicken. Confirmed if there was silverware in my to-go order. They said yes, there was not. No care taken in the preparation of the salad Would not return.
