Fantastic and high quality food and service. The meat was fantastic and they had some very delicious options. The estofado was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. All of the sauces provided were delicious as well - make sure you get all the ones they serve. Great stop for authentic Peruvian

The food was fantastic, especially the ceviche Classico and the Peruvian cookies! The waiter was very kind and accommodating, making my partner and I alcohol-free versions of their delicious cocktails. Highly recommend 🌟

Very delicious food. Great place to fuel up after a day of shopping in SCP or before a show at Segerstroms. Lovely dishes, drinks, Music incredible.
However, they should lower the lighting it feels a bit cafeteria like with bright lights. Also, a large flower or plant arrangement or LAMP at the end of the bar with dimmer lighting would cozy up the place and make it look more appealing and cosmopolitan from the outside. Beautiful windows, use em. !!

I’m a regular at Costa Contemporary Kitchen, and it never disappoints! The food is absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish has that perfect mix of authentic Peruvian taste and modern style.
The service is always excellent — friendly, attentive, and personal. You can tell the team really cares about their guests. The atmosphere is warm and lively, and the cocktails (especially the pisco sours!) are some of the best in town.
I’ve brought so many friends and family here to celebrate birthdays and special occasions, and everyone always leaves happy. Costa has truly become my go-to spot for great food, drinks, and good vibes. Highly recommend!

I had an incredible dining experience at Costa Contemporary Kitchen, and it deserves every bit of praise. From the moment we sat down, the warmth of the staff and the vibrant atmosphere set the tone for a memorable meal. Andrea was our server, and she truly elevated the experience. She knew the menu inside and out, made excellent recommendations, and her passion for the cuisine made each dish even more enjoyable.

We started with a trio of appetizers that showcased the best of Peruvian flavors. The ceviche was refreshing and bright with the perfect balance of citrus and spice. The empanadas were golden, flaky, and generously filled, and the anticuchos were tender, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. And we have to mention the salted maíz on the table – unbelievably addicting. Once we started snacking, we couldn’t stop.

For the main course, we shared several dishes family style, and each one stood out. The lomo saltado was a highlight with juicy, well-seasoned beef, sautéed onions, and tomatoes that paired perfectly with the crisp fries and rice. The chaufa was a flavorful Peruvian take on fried rice, packed with savory seasoning and delicious textures in every bite. We also loved the tallarín verde, a creamy and vibrant green spaghetti full of basil flavor that was both comforting and unique.

To drink, I ordered the chicha morada, which was refreshing, lightly sweet, and the perfect complement to the bold dishes.

Overall, the food was outstanding, the service was exceptional thanks to Andrea, and the entire experience was truly delightful. I’ll definitely be returning to Costa Contemporary Kitchen and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Peruvian cuisine.

This weekend, my family and I went shopping at South Coast Plaza and decided to grab dinner afterward. We stumbled upon a hidden gem called Costa Peruvian Cuisine, and wow! what a great find!

From the moment our host greeted us, the service was warm and welcoming. Our server, Apo, was fantastic and made the experience even better.

We started off with a few drinks — the Sandia Fresca with a Tajín rim absolutely 10/10! Refreshing and perfectly balanced.

For dinner, we had the Lomo Saltado and the Sautéed Filet Mignon, both cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.

We’ll definitely be coming back soon, and I highly recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area.

Had an amazing experience at Costa Contemporary Kitchen. From the moment we walked in, everything was smooth with zero wait time, and the service was genuinely incredible. The team there really knows how to take care of their guests.

We started with the causas and empanadas and they did not disappoint packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. For our mains, we went with steak and pasta and both dishes were spoton Drinks were also outstanding, crafted with care and super refreshing. ( mine was virgin )

Big shoutout to Jose behind the bar and Hector at our table. Both brought great energy, were incredibly attentive, and made the whole dining experience that much better.

The ambiance is fantastic too, warm and stylish without trying too hard. I loved it so much I’ll be bringing my school’s parent committee here next time. This place is a total win and I already can’t wait to return.
