Nancy was amazing and everything she recommended was absolutely delicious. The next time we come up for a show, we will definitely make another reservation. Thank you for a perfect pre show meal.

We’ve never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Despite having a reservation, the staff at Costa Contemporary Kitchen made us feel completely unwelcome. They were incredibly rude, dismissive, and acted as though they wanted us to leave rather than dine there. The overall attitude was unprofessional and insulting — honestly, we were treated like we were begging to spare free meals. Dining out should feel inviting, but this experience was the exact opposite. We will never come back! Please avoid this restaurant at all costs - the stuff absolutely does not want you dining there!

The staff here are incredibly rude. They won’t acknowledge you, act like you’re bothering them, and treat customers with total disrespect. Terrible service — don’t waste your time or money at this restaurant

The waitress treated me like a second class person because I am a Latino even though all are Latinos shameI seems like the administration hire people who doesn’t know how to treat clients in general no matter what about El Rocoto Restaurant in Huntington tried for the first time 2 days ago and I really love it. Service food prices and everyone there is so nice highly recommended and believe me I know what I’m talking about

I love the food! I was so focused with the food that I forgot to take photos for my Ig and for my review. It was my first time, and I am truly impressed. The loma and ceviche were so good. Everything was so amazing — the cuisine, drinks, atmosphere and of course, the service! I’m happy I decided to eat here.

In a world full of dining options, Costa contemporary kitchen stands out as a genuinely memorable experience. Cozy yet vibrant, respectful of tradition yet daring in its creativity, it’s the kind of place that doesn’t just satisfy hunger but leaves you with a story, a smile, and a yearning to return.

We stopped in for a casual lunch and were completely blown away. The empanadas were perfectly golden and dusted with just the right touch of sweetness—crispy on the outside, warm and savory inside, and paired with a fresh, vibrant dipping sauce. The ceviche was out of this world—so refreshing and balanced, with tender fish, sweet potatoes, cancha corn, and that punchy red onion bite. Every element on the plate had intention and flavor.

We also had the most stunning pisco sour—smooth, citrusy, and topped with artistic swirls of cinnamon that made it almost too pretty to drink (almost!).

The ambiance was warm and chic and great service. 10/10 recommend if you’re craving authentic, elevated Peruvian food. Will definitely be back!

Exceptional service and great authentic food. I should've got a photo of my entree for this review, but I was too focused on enjoying it! The flan is made in house and made a great finisher!

Food and drinks were good as was the service. No issues there. It's a nice place w an upscale feel. The buying is all concrete so the noise is tough for having conversations. Otherwise good experience. Would be great prior to a show at the theater or concert hall.

We ordered our food to go, so we didn't spend much time in the restaurant. I was most impressed with the ceviche. Many restaurants will serve you the ceviche to-go with the fish already marinating in the lime juice sauce (leche de tigre). The problem with this is that by the time the ceviche arrives at your house it has - 1) overcooked, and 2) likely spilled everywhere. Costa is the only Peruvian restaurant I've found (and I'm Peruvian, I've tried MANY) that actually separates the leche de tigre from the fish. They even let you add salt and pepper to your taste. By the way, before eating it, you should let the ceviche marinate in the leche de tigre for 3-5 minutes - depending on how well done you want the fish. So... wow ... they know their stuff, they care, and they're thoughtful!
Okay, but what about the quality? Amazing! The fish is clearly sushi grade, and GOOD sushi grade! Moreover, the leche de tigre is the best I've had outside of Peru (so far). So, 20,000 thumbs up for the ceviche.
The other dishes are really good, too. Especially the arroz con mariscos and arroz chaufa, but I really wanted to rave about the ceviche.

Absolutely delicious!
We were lucky to get in as we showed up right as they opened without a reservation. We ordered empanadas, which just melted in our mouths, seriously the best ones we’ve ever had.
I ordered the braised beef with mashed potatoes, carrots and gravy, which was delicious and so filling. My husband ordered a dish with a tower of large potato fries, rice, chunks of beef and sauce. The flavors were incredible.
I’d love to go back when we’re Olin the area and try more dishes, as every dish we tried was amazing.
