We waited over 2 hours to be seated on a Friday night but it was well worth the wait. It is honestly the best sushi I've had in awhile and for a price you can't beat. I can see why this place is highly rated on yelp. The quality of the fish was great, the taste was amazing, the service was prompt and friendly. It is great to see such a busy place run smoothly. All I have to say is bring your patience and appetite.Parking: It is located in a busy plaza. You should find parking within the plaza .

If they allowed the customers the option to pay a few more dollars for upgrading the fish inside the rolls I would give them a higher rating. They have the Bluefin tuna and belly salmon so why not allow customers to pay the extra amount or difference to get better sushi fish inside the rolls? Not asking for it for free. Paying for it. You can set price at $3,$5 or whatever to upgrade fish inside rolls but to say no or not give option is not so good. Any upgrade or upsell option should always be an option for customers

I'm going to be completely honest. Giving three stars to this place is generous.First of all, I walked into the extremely busy spot to look at the wait times. Dine in wait time was 90-175 minutes.I saw a lot of to go orders on the counter, so I decided to order to go as well. They told me the wait would be 30 minutes. So I ordered my food and came back in about 15 minutes to use the bathroom. Lo and behold, my food is already ready, so they shoo me out the door. I didn't even receive a text message saying that my order was ready, so I could have wasted an extra 15 minutes just standing around.I sat down outside to eat while watching all the people wait to get in the store, and I expected to be met with a huge pop of flavors from the sushi. The sushi was definitely mediocre at best. And I've eaten a lot of sushi. It all tasted bland and tasted the same, which is weird because I got 5 different types of fish. All I can say is I don't get why this place has so much hype, and I won't be eating here again. There are way better sushi spots in OC. I actually was still so hungry I went to eat somewhere else after. It was truly disappointing. If you're going to eat, just order to go. There's no reason to wait so long to dine in.

Great sushi restaurant, not an American style sushi roll restaurant with large portions. It is a Japanese-style restaurant with small portions and quality. There was an hour wait since it was a weekend, but it was worth it.

I was disappointed on several levels from this highly rated restaurant. Rolls that were listed on the menu as being 8 pieces were only 6. The hot tea was cheap bagged tea. The ginger was sickly sweet. And the rolls themselves were mediocre at best. Truly a disappointing experience.

The wait was about 40 minutes for 6 pm dinner on a Thursday night, which is how you know this place is good lol. The price was pretty good - I paid $14-$15 for tempura udon, and another.. $5-$7 for a small roll of 4 pieces. I forgot the exact price. Anyway, it'll be around $20 per person. The atmosphere is really nice and the interior is cute. It feels clean and well maintained. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the udon was really good too. This would be a good hangout for friends or a date. Servers were attentive and polite. It was a full restaurant, but it didn't feel too loud or hectic at all. Even though there's a wait, I would definitely come here again and spend time around the plaza or nearby while waiting. There's a handful of dessert shops nearby, which is great for round 2!!!

I first want to start off by saying that the sushi here was really good. If you’re looking for tasty, quality sushi, this is the place to go. However I took 2 stars off for two reasons, one of them holding much more weight than the other. First of all, the wait time was insane. We made a reservation 40 minutes before we arrived and once we got there, we still had to wait an extra 30 minutes. I guess that’s just expected when the food here is so good. Another thing is the prices were quite hefty. Again, that’s just the price you pay for quality sushi. Because this place isn’t all you can eat, we didn’t want to order more as it would drive up the cost. Honestly, I was still starving by the end, but my wallet didn’t want to order more. The bill ended up coming out to almost $40 per person. First of all, it’s insane that $40 worth of food left me still starving. Second, at that price I might as well have gone to an All You Can Eat sushi place because not only would I be able to feel significantly more satisfied, but there are a lot of AYCE places that are decently less than $40 per person. I went here because it was highly recommended by several people I know and although it was delicious, and the service was great if you exclude the wait time (and apparently the wait is always that long), I would not want to come back here especially at that price.
