Ample food. The carnitas plate had proportionate more meat than rice and beans. That's a good thing! Service was prompt and attentive. All in my party cleared their plates. Parking can be an issue, but 6 :30 on Saturday was easy for me. Cannot wait to go again.

Tried many other Mexican restaurants in the area, but this one reminds me of home (Texas) the most! Great 'Tex-Mex' style food, and the margaritas are very good too. Will be back!

If you are considering eating at this establishment, please do so. The food was incredible, the service was attentive, and the food was served quickly. This was my first time eating here and I will be back again. I had the chimichanga and fajitas and they were both great. Also, the queso dip was the best I've had since moving to California.

Ever wonder what a Mexican meal placed under a heat lamp for hours tastes like? Well, go check out El Matador. The cheese on the beans is not melted. The tacos have a sweet flavor to them. And everything is dry and stale. Spent $50 for just about the worst Mexican food you can imagine. Taco Bell is far better.
