Little food truck that has the most delicious street tacos. Carne asada and chicken were delightful.

Food is good, just don’t like how stingy they are with Salsas. You ask for one more and it’s like they’re losing money. Most trucks have self serve salsas, they hand you tiny containers. They really need to invest a couple bucks on a new menu or slap a couple small TVs on the outside with digital menus to change items/prices. Just a thought!

They are not very good, the girls who serve are very dry and arrogant, the sauce is not spicy and you also ask for grilled onions and surprise they never give it to you...

This is the spot. You won’t regret it—well if you’re a taco connoisseur/snob—then maybe. But me, I like fresh burritos and tacos with a healthy side of salsa and the whole bunch—and this place hits.

I enjoyed the food enough to make special effort to come back. It’s nice because not only are they near a different style taco truck, they’re actually near Tokyo Central, so you have the option of getting sushi alongside.
Dietary restrictions: Had no troubles with my celiacs.

The people working the food truck trailer all wear black chef uniforms and that was my first clue.
Second, the al pastor in taco or torta form is both delicious true to what the reviews say.
The chorizo torta is also filling and tasty.
They have a special taco of the day offering, today was chicharron en salsa verde, when I went.
Lastly, they offer bottled Mexican soda (jarritos, squirt, etc.) beverages along with canned mango or guava Jumex or Boing drinks. Great way to wash the flavorful Mexican street food all down. Totally surprised me how good it was compared to other food trucks in the area.

Good tacos but nothing particularly special. The feel just slightly smaller than other street tacos, but the base price is $2. The Al pastor was decent. Make sure to request grilled onions on the side.

I can only speak for thr torta. Its in costa mesa so dont expect it to taste authentic mexican. But i believe their target audience is for white people that want mexican food. All good tho. Salsa roja not spicy. They also sell hamburgers. I mean service is great and its not crowded. If you want mexican food 4 stars. If you want mexican americanized food 5 stars. YT: The Nava Tribe
