One of my favorite sushi spots in OC with the best oysters. Quality and service are always the best!

Horrible service, I drive 20 minutes to arrive at 9:30pm. The hours were are published as open until 10:00pm. When I got there they said I could order takeout only. There was no manager amd the employees were obviously more concerned with getting off early then running a restaurant. Horrible business practices. It cost me money to drive to this restaurant from work. I only selected it because it said it was open!!!!. That's what u get when u let children run the business. They looked like minors. Why are all the tables and chairs being put away before 9 30pm if the hours say open until 10:00? The hours should be changed .

Great place for a family lunch!
We had lunch here as a family, and everything was excellent. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The sushi is fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We especially loved the creative rolls—you can tell they focus on quality and flavor. We’ll definitely be coming back!

ETCetera Sushi & Izakaya is a great choice for sushi lovers. Their sushi is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and has an amazing flavor. Each bite offers a perfect balance of taste and texture, making for a truly enjoyable experience.
In addition to excellent quality, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the freshness and flavor of the food. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the friendly, professional staff make the dining experience even better.
If you’re looking for delicious sushi at a fair price in a welcoming setting, ETCetera Sushi & Izakaya is a must-visit!

This place has been on my list of places to try and I'm so glad I finally did. We showed up and were seated right away. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but there are some tables set up outside as well. Service was quick and efficient. We definitely felt welcomed as we walked in. Plenty of parking available in the lot. Lastly, the food was delicious! I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area.
Food review:
Spicy tuna on crispy rice: (5/5) Honestly, I was shocked at how big they were at first, but once I took my first bite I was impressed. Great flavor and texture!
Salmon nigiri: (5/5) Very tasty and melted in my mouth. It was super fresh tasting.
Gyoza: (5/5) These are steamed I believe, but also great flavor and the dipping sauce was super good!
Salmon avocado roll: (4/5) It was pretty good, big pieces of salmon inside and very filling.
Sushi roll (unknown name?) (5/5) My bf said it was delicious and he downed it quickly! I'm allergic to shrimp so couldn't try.
Plain udon: (4/5) This was a decent size portion. The noodles and broth were both very tasty

I needed a quick clean flavorful lunch and this did the trick. However if you’re looking for exceptional sushi, charming decor and great value this may do the trick. Or not. Will I return? Not likely. But give it a try if you’re in the area. PS: unapologetically I’m a sushi snob.

Staying in a nearby hotel, and got excited when we saw this sushi place nearby. I went to place an order directly through their website (not a third party app) for pickup, and was shocked to see a 10% “convenience fee” added.
I’m not sure what’s convenient about that? It’s placing a simplified order directly to the kitchen, bypassing tying up any server or host’s time. There is takeout packaging involved, but the pennies for that are less than the labor costs of full service. It didn’t say credit card processing fee, which is another annoying cost now being passed on to the customer, but it’s at least somewhat understandable (and CC fees are generally around 3%, so where’s the other 7% come in?)
I assume this fee is just for takeout, but who knows, maybe they charge it in house too. Idk I just spent my money elsewhere.
love it here for a lunch! the service is quick and pleasure to deal with. I eat outside, fresh air during my lunch break.

I loved my first visit a few years ago and still absolutely love this place every time. Great textures, consistent, fresh, solid combinations created for their rolls. The only down side, I can never decide which roll should be my last bite (the last should always be the best but they are all great so how to decide!) Normally, it's the melt your heart away roll (yummmmm)

This place is cool. I have been here a few times, all their rolls are bomb. I have also tried their matcha ice cream, the.. matcha cheesecake? And whatever the banana dessert was. They have hot tea. Cool interior. Staff is cool. Would recommend.

It’s a chill neighborhood sushi spot. The Nigri was amazing, but I also had some fusion rolls that were phenomenal as well. We were outside great service.

Server was quite rude, took over 10 minutes for us to be greeted. When one of our rolls came out there was a long hair draped across our roll. When we asked to return it, we got no apology and no comp. As a fellow service worker in this situation I would have taken it off immediately no questions asked yet I would never complain. Though we felt disgusted we sat through this pitiful meal. 0/10 would not recommend nor come back.

I was once a loyal patron of this sushi place, but regrettably, the service and food quality have taken a nosedive. My recent visit was an absolute nightmare, with incredibly rude staff members adding insult to injury. It's disheartening to see a place I used to love fall so far from grace.
The wait wasn’t too long but there wasn’t too many people waiting to be seated. The bar area was completely empty so I wanted to sit there when the hostess said oh all that the seats are taken. I then asked to speak to the manager but to my surprise the manager was just extremely rude and showed no interest to help. Manager had a vague and a nonchalant attitude, definitely not the way to handle first time consumers. Because of his attitude I walked away and left, I don’t recommend this restaurant unless you want to be treated like garbage.
