I come to this location once or twice a week sometimes with my daughter when I pick her from school and the first time they didn't accept a $50 dollar bill and there's a new guy that told the sweet girl that no he can over ride but won't and said they take card which I don't have so had to go some where else to eat my order was $18 and some change like if I was order a five dollar meal so I ended up eating at the habit and they had no issue taking my money guess me and my daughter not going there to eat again

My wife swears by this place so I met her for lunch, giving it a second chance. First time i was so unimpressed by the meat to bun ratio. Fast forward over a year and place is same. Meh sandwich. Was mostly bread. Which is decent but I like a sandwich with some heft. Especially over 10 bucks for a sandwich. Pickles taste good. Place is cold and not really inviting for eating in. Was eerily quiet when we ate there. People were friendly but dang, yall could put some more meat on those sammies!

AVOID EATING AT THIS LOCATION!!!
I went into this location on
December 26, 2024 for a LARGE
Engineer on whole wheat. No tomatoes. No onions. Extra mayo. I made it a combo with chips and a drink. I paid cash. I didn't keep the receipt. They made the sub without the extra mayo and put onions on my sandwich. I have Crohn's disease and CANNOT eat onions. I returned the next day and spoke with the GM Julian Barras who REFUSED to remake the sub bc he couldn't find a digital imprint of my transaction and then accused me of trying to "scam" the restaurant out of a $20 sub. Seriously?!? Avoid at all costs!!!

Not much meat on sub compared to other Firehouse subs locations but it was good.

Compared to other sub places this is by far the best one this is based on a traditional walk in only, I don’t do cupones or just any other out of the ordinary thing. Me and my son got one footlong it it’s a lot bigger that subways footlong we both got full the price is probably a little bit higher but I rather come here and spend it one something really good. I had the cheese and stake and it was on point

A smaller firehouse, but very clean inside. Great made sub. Quick service too.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was located in a shopping center and relatively expensive; so definitely not good value for money. We had a medium sandwich ($13.50 each), and my niece added 1 small bag of chips, and 1 beverage and it was over $35. The sandwiches were good, but think I'd rather pick up sandwiches at Globe Delicatessen and drive to the park or beach... not sure I'd go back, but if you're not concerned about the cost, try it.

I recently visited Firehouse ??? Subs at 2701 Harbor Blvd Ste D4, Costa Mesa, CA, and had a generally positive experience. The restaurant was clean , the food was delicious ?, and the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine worked perfectly ?, offering a great variety of drink options. Stephanie, who assisted me, was professional and courteous, even though the situation was a bit challenging for her.
I was there to take advantage of a promotional offer for a free medium sub with the purchase of a sub, chips, and a drink. While I bought chips, drinks, and a small sandwich, I was informed by the manager over the phone ? that I needed to buy a medium or larger sub to qualify for the offer. This detail wasn’t specified in the offer, and as an experienced couponer who reads the fine print, I felt a bit taken aback. Despite my calm and methodical approach, I ended up spending an additional $7 to meet the requirement. In the midst of it all, my order, which I had originally requested on wheat, ended up on white bread ?.
Even though this hiccup happened, I want to highlight that the quality of the food and the overall experience was still great ?. Stephanie handled everything with grace, and I appreciate her efforts. I would just suggest that the terms of promotional offers be made clearer to avoid any future confusion.
Now, some critics might argue, “If you didn’t like the offer, you could have just left.” While that’s technically true, it’s important to consider both legal and practical aspects. Legally ⚖️, advertising a promotion creates a reasonable expectation for the consumer that the terms presented will be honored. This is a basic principle of consumer protection laws, which aim to prevent misleading and deceptive practices.
Practically, once a customer has committed time and effort into visiting a location, especially with the intent of taking advantage of a specific offer, it’s not always straightforward to simply leave ?. This is especially true if the customer has already interacted with staff, placed an order, or is on a tight schedule. The purpose of promotional offers is to attract customers and create a positive experience, not to cause frustration or confusion ?.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would recommend Firehouse Subs for its tasty food and clean environment. A little more transparency with promotions would make it perfect!

It's 830PM. Firehouse subs was not closed technically but the female employee told me they're only serving "cold sandwiches". The establishment is called firehouse subs...not cold subs. I walked in at 830 and the floors had already been mopped up and partially dried, which means they started cleaning around 815. If the store is open then they should be able to serve the food on the full menu and not a limited menu. Maybe just change the hours to 830 PM if that's when the store actually close instead of telling customers they can't order a hot sandwich. At 8:37 the female employee turned the OPEN sign off. The hours on the window say 9PM. At least she gave me an option for cold sandwiches but that's not why I come to fire house subs. I could go anywhere for a cold sub. I'm not sorry I walked in during your working hours to order something off the regular menu. Sure are getting that minimum wage worth when you close up an hour early hunh? Thanks for letting me know not to come to this fire house subs cause the employees are lazy even though they get paid $20 a hr.

Ice had something brown in it, then we waited 20 minutes for 3 subs with only 2 other people in front of us... Could it be because we didn't tip on their app or maybe lots of online orders ahead of us ?... Try the one in Huntington Beach... Area matters !
Will not be eating here again
