I don’t think the photos do this place justice. I ordered for the first time here and got the grilled white fish and it was cooked to perfection. I was blown away by the quality of the fish. I loved the options for the sides too. I ordered the zucchini and the grilled corn which I really appreciate for the healthy options. The fries also looked amazing. I will have to come back.I would like to give a shout out to Rose, our server. She was absolutely fantastic and very attentive. Even though this is a self-serve place, her dedication and attentiveness made it feel like a sitdown restaurant. She told us about the new location that they were moving to I will be sure to come back.

The food is great and the portions are more than sufficient to fill my hungry teenagers. I am very particular about my diet and it is easy to do no carbs here. I also don't do sugar and dairy and that is super easy to avoid here too. Great place, so glad we found it. We were craving fish tacos, googled it and this place seemed perfect and it was! Excellent, stuffed fish tacos. There was a large menu and everyone in our family found something they enjoyed. Can't wait to visit it again. The cashier/ servers who helped us were so pleasant. We were greeted, and then when we left they said thank you to us and hoped to see us again. Great stuff.

I have been a regular at FishBonz in Costa Mesa for the past 5 years and I have to say, it just keeps getting better and better. The fast casual atmosphere is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, and the outdoor dining area is always a welcome option on a beautiful day. The parking in the back is a convenient touch, and the photos of the food on the walls always have me craving more. The menu at FishBonz is always fresh and varied, with seafood options like shrimp and filet mignon that never disappoint. The Brussels sprouts and salad are always tasty sides, and the tacos are a must-try. The stubborn drinks are the perfect way to wash it all down. The service at FishBonz is consistently excellent. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and they make sure that everything is to our liking. Overall, FishBonz is a go-to spot for me and my family. Fish and chips were great! Curious what kind of fish they use, anyone know? Big pieces of white fish, crispy batter, good seasoning. We made our own tartar sauce since it didn't come with any. Side salad was good and a decent size, fries were ok - a little skinnier and crispier than I like, but perhaps that's just personal preference... wouldn't be mad if they added steak fries to the menu ;) Definitely will order the fish and chips again and try other sides. Also got the clams which were good, even better was dipping their bread in the broth (that bread, omg) but the broth was a little bit watery. Didn't have any pieces of lobster in the bisque, which i thought was ok, but my husband liked it. And good poke for the price. They fresh tortilla chips were awesome too. Good experience ordering from uber eats, will definitely get takeout from them again!

I visited Fishbonz recently and I was very pleased. My first impression was that the restaurant was very clean and that the menu had a lot of choices. The cashier was friendly too. I ordered the salmon fish bowl with corn and beans. The teriyaki sauce was tasty but they didn't but enough sauce on it. The garlic butter sauce was good as well. The salmon itself was very delicious and tasted fresh. The steamed clams were delicious too. They also have a fish taco combo with a free drink which is a good deal. They also have a nice check in offer. My only complaint is that they did not put enough sauce on my fish

We heard about this place via Yelp and thought we could give it a try. 1. Impressions (4) Parking in the rear. It's a take out place with tables on two levels. We noticed that everything is very clean. The staff is wonderful. 2. Service (5) You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. You save on tips. The beverage bar is nice with a lot of creative choices. The staff was very nice and working on cleaning when not helping others. It is always nice to see employees constantly cleaning if not busy. 3. Food Taste (4) We had cajun salmon with rice, corn, and grilled veggies. It tasted fresh and flavorful. The steamed clams were excellent. 4. Food Value (4) They give you a good amount of fish for the price. The sides were enough to fill a large plate. Star Value 17 divided by 4 = 4.2 or 4 Stars My only suggestion is to offer larger cuts of fish for maybe a few dollars more for those who desire more fish.
I had an offer to redeem for fish and chips and the manager that rang me up was not willing to honor it for some reason. She held my phone for quite some time so I figured she read the description and what it all entailed but she didn't want to honor it. She finally said she would but gave me a lot of attitude for it. When it came out it was only one single fish stick and no fries. The fish was excellent but unfortunately the service I received from that manager was horrible. Other people that redeemed the exact same coupon told me they had no problems and that the manager was probably new. Again the fish was great and I'd definitely go back and hopefully get fries and a smile too. Nice spacious dining area that's two floors. It's a quick service style so you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table.

Excellent food and friendly service. Mahi-mahi & Steak Taco combination with drinks $10.99 each . Lobster bisque ...so yummy. Parking is behind the store. I want to come again. There is a Taco Tuesday special.

This was our first time eating here. My husband and I travel quite a bit and look for local seafood restaurants to enjoy. Staff here are friendly and answered all our questions we had while ordering. I was very surprised about the portions and the price. Both excellent. The taste of the food was very fresh and very good! I would recommend this to all who love to eat seafood.
