The pizza is some of the tastiest pizza you can get in Costa Mesa, BUT:
The parking lot is a nightmare
You can only order takeout when they’re not busy
There’s always a wait
The service is *usually* mediocre
The owners are not very warm or welcoming, kind of dismissive
The pizza is small for the price and the crust takes up too much of the surface area

Folks was my go-to when they first opened, till I realized it’s just not worth the hassle or cost. $40 for a pizza after tax and expensive ranch dressing to deal with the massive crust, that feeds 1 hungry person or two people that are not that hungry.

I rather go to Sgt Pepperoni and deal with much less hassle and a pizza that’s nearly as special, better value

Went last night and whoever made the pizza really messed it up and to actually serve this to me is crazy. The bubbles were so big on edge of the crust it moved all the toppings to the center and left a very doughy soggy crust. Would not recommend.

The fennel sausage pizza is amazing but the service and wait time was verging on ridiculous. Would come back though!

The best pizza l've ever tried. I drove an hour to get to this place and I didn't regret it! Tried their white sauce mushroom pizza and the Cesar salad.
The pizza dough was perfect! Toppings were tasty, fresh and unbelievably delicious. Will come back here hopefully soon!

Food: I think my Pizza was overcooked because the lack of sauce. The burnt area should be more on the crust and not the cheese. I thought the crust was the worst part of this pizza. 4/10

Host/Server: Super Friendly and Helpful. 75 min quote on a Friday was spot on. Text message kept me informed 10/10

Parking: I parked on Randolph just north of Baker in the residential area. Parking near this place is chaos.

The food was salty and over-seasoned. We ordered the pizza, the wings, and the salad. We used to live close and came to this restaurant monthly.. Coming back a year later the food was off. New cook/chef? I hope to try again soon.

What a flippin’ cool pizza spot. It’s been a while since I came through this area and I loved how the entire area had so much going on. The pizza restaurant was a bit tucked away from the parking lot but that meant we got to explore the rest of the shops a bit on the way to the yum. We had a reservation and the staff got us squared away when only part of our party was present. All in all the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable of the ins and outs. They gave a bunch of recommendations that turned out well. The pizza was amazing as expected but what really stood out was the crust. It was thinner and chewier than other pizzas which was a nice change. While all the pizzas were great, I think the classic margherita was perfect in every bite.
