The owners Mark and Julie are the nicest people hint, order the meatballs on Monday with spaghetti, and a lot of locals do, for a wonderful discount.

I have never heard of an Italian restaurant closed on a Tuesday. How stupid.

Hidden Gem of Newport!

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a line out the door. It’s a true mom-and-pop restaurant in the best way. All the pasta is made fresh daily (our server said it’s actually made every hour!), and the penne was out of this world.

Inside, it feels like you’re sitting in a Nonna’s kitchen, authentic, old-school vibe, and the staff couldn’t be kinder. Every time I’ve gone, the owners are there in the kitchen, saying hello to guests and keeping everything running.

Prices are great, food is amazing, go there immediately!

Garduno's catered our Classified Appreciation Luncheon at work today. The owners, themselves, brought everything over and were just the nicest people! We ordered the salad with house dressing, both meat and vegie lasagna, and homemade pineapple cake and cannoli's. Oh goodness - everything was delicious! I will definitely visit their restaurant, but would recommend for catering as well.

A hidden gem in the heart of the city! The staff here is attentive and friendly, offering great recommendations based on your preferences. I had the seafood linguine, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh seafood cooked to perfection in a light, flavorful sauce. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with an elegant, rustic feel that makes you feel like you’re dining in Italy. It's the perfect place to enjoy authentic Italian dishes in a relaxed yet sophisticated setting.

Food was authentic, but service was really lacking. The couple next to us was seated after us, and when they were done with their meal, our pastas just arrived! In all, the dinner took 110 minutes, from waiting at the cramped doorway (we had reservations) to ordering, to waiting, waiting, and waiting. Perhaps, you guys need to add one more person to the staff to help?

after coming here almost ten years because i love the food/ambiance i finally found out the wife is the waitress and the husband is the chef, which makes me love it here even more. today i had ravioli with bolognese and couldn't have been bothered to take a picture It smelled so good. Thanks guys!!

The best itailain Family run restaurant. The pasta is Made fresh daily. The best!!! Food made to the order and a romantic cozy setting. Prices are under what you would expect these days for excellent food. Thank u Julie and Mark for making it 30 plus years in Costa Mesa.
