Good vibes and great food. My grandpa used to come here and it’s a family favorite to this day. Thanks for always serving up great food, and for the vegetarian friendly dishes that are just as good as the meat dishes. We will always be back when we are in Southern Cal.

Everything except the walnut shrimp is 1/10… this place is for people who never had chinese food.. they have only english menu, we should have knew then i guess.. Their mapo tofu is not spicy but sour, deluxe vege is sour + salty, chow mein is really… just don’t go if u ever had good cantonese/chinese food. Service is really polite tho.

The food had very little flavor. I ordered the cream cheese crab wontons, which we're $15 for 6 overcooked, tasteless, wontons. Mistake! The egg roll was greasy and tasteless. The Orange Chicken tasted all right, but it was in huge pieces. So you couldn't possibly eat them without having a knife to cut them up. That's not the way Chinese food should work. Also, the Egg Fried Rice was white rice with bits of egg. No veggies or seasoning. It had no flavor. It's been about 15 years since the last time I went to this restaurant and it's a neighborhood restaurant!no. Now I know that I didn't make a mistake in staying away from this place. Aldo our waiter was not exactly friendly and he never checked back on us to see if we were enjoying our food or needed anything. The bus person was great, though. He did check on us and took care of a couple of different things for us.

This is a great family owned authentic Chinese food restaurant, the staff is courteous and the service is quick. The food is great cooked to order, with fresh ingredients. I've been coming here since 1984, the food is always delicious 😋 always freshly made 😋 try the musho chicken or the Kung pao shrimp so crazy good. They've been in business since 1974 so you know they are doing it right... If you l9ve Chinese food you owe it to yourself to try this place, trust me you're gunna love it. 1st time at this restaurant last night. I should have walked away when I saw brooms/vacuum in plain view and the place smells like mold. The man who seated us was rude/no greeting. Servers are the same bad attitude. I still gave it a shot since it had high stars. Food almost looks good. It was bland and smells bad. This is the worst Chinese place and Chinese food ever.

Best Chinese food in So. Cal. Hands down!! Family owned and operated. It's worth the drive from the IE no meter the traffic! Best Walnut Shrimp we've ever found. The Aromatic Shrimp (or chicken) is a must try!!
Before I get started let me first say, I've been coming to The Golden Dragon since 1984, yeah you read that right, I've been coming here since 1984... This restaurant is a family owned, second generation run, authentic Chinese restaurant serving it's customers authentic family recipes dishes. Now like I said it's two generations of serving the best Chinese food in Orange County, now if they've been here since 1984 you know they are doing it right and the food speaks for itself, it is soo delicious ? You have to try their musho chicken (chicken deluxe) also if you love shrimp you must treat yourself to the Kung Pao Shrimp, crazy good no spicy heat just great flavor ? and try the egg rolls try the special egg rolls they used to be an off the menu item, but so many people heard of them the owners had to put it on the main menu. ? The staff is very friendly, there is plenty of seating and if you have to wait, trust me it's well worth the wait, you could always have a seat at the full service bar and enjoy your favorite cocktail or beer. Like I said this restaurant is old school authentic with a retro vibe and great food and very reasonable prices and serves large portions this is a good value meal for your hard earned money. it has been a few years since we lived in the area and walked in to find update but people just as nice. All the food was so good just like we remember it. Ordered tons and took leftovers to eat later it was that great. even leftovers still kept all the flavor.
