I wish I had a picture of the bartender/ possibly manager and or owner who blatantly ignored me,but I walked in today on my lunch break for a quick lunch, place was empty only 3 people at bar who had their food and drinks and 1 person waiting for a to go, I was completely ignored at least 4 minutes before I gave up and walked up to the counter, rang the bell, still totally ignored like I seriously was invisible, I finally had to say, can somebody please help Im on my break, not a word from bartender who slowly walked up and took my order, reluctantly, absolutely ridiculous!!Terrible, I ordered shrimp cocktail which took 16 minutes and it wasn't cold,, how is that even possible, I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVER! Taco Madre always now from here on in, I didn't go today because their parking lot was full today, always treated with respect, a friendly smile and excellent food!! Here's my shrimp cocktail that took 16 minutes today and who knows where the manager/ bartender went she disappeared, I was never asked if I needed anything, or if everything was okay. Never again here at this place.

Last night was the second time in a row that I've gotten food poisoning from this location. Spent $50 so I could spend all night vomiting and cant go into work today. Clearly, this place has a sanitation issue.Addition: sanitation includes having your employees wash their hands. Not jumping to conclusions, you guys definitely made me sick. You can investigate the reason why. After 20 years coming here, I can’t come back.

This was the best Mexican place in Costa Mesa back in the day. Lately both service and food is getting worse and worse every time I visit. It's been months that I've brought to their attention that their fountain drinks have dirt in it, like little black particles and today i've noticed that they have done nothing about that. Along with the general downfall of almost everything. Food was swimming in oil, not tasty at all, the restroom was filthy and not friendly attitude of the staff on top, made me write this review. I used to love this place I hope they get together themselves soon.

Please support this local establishment. The service is excellent and the food is as good as you will get anywhere else. Not much more to say. Also, they have an outdoor dining area.
Exceeded my expectations by far! we were greeted by the owner Betsy. She was so welcoming and pleasant to speak to.Their portions here are very generous compared to the price (pictures dont do it justice) and they also make a very good “healthier for you” margarita .I highly recommend.

Not very good quality, the street tacos seemed reheated and the salsa was bland and clearly frozen.
I wanted to go get breakfast somewhere close to my hotel and discovered this place. The food was delicious, you have to try the breakfast potatoes. I met the owner and she was so kind.
