During my recent visit to Habana, I was thoroughly impressed with the outstanding level of hospitality provided. The ambiance of the place immediately sets a welcoming tone, but what truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service. After a brief wait, the manager personally approached us, showcasing their attentive and caring approach towards guests. Not only did they ensure our comfort, but they also generously took care of an appetizer and drinks for us. This gesture of kindness and the manager’s effort to go above and beyond left a lasting impression on us. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was delightful, but it was the warmth and professionalism of the staff, especially the manager, that made our visit unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Habana to anyone looking for a dining experience that excels in both quality and hospitality. Five stars all the way!

It's been a while since we've been here (probably 5 years or more), so we decided to stop in during OC restaurant week. I'm so glad that we did. The food was as good as I remember, if not better! The waiter was attentive and had a good personality, and the ambiance was great. We sat out on the patio, which is really nice on a sunny, warm day. I personally prefer the ambiance at night as it feels a little more upscale due to the dim lighting and decor.We started off with the Chicken Empanadas and the Bocaditos De Picadillo. Both dishes were really good and we enjoyed the flavor and tenderness of the pastry.For my main dish , I got the Lechon Frito, which isn't on the regular menu. It was excellent. The pork was so succulent and juicy, and the rice was amazing. My girlfriend got the Tamal En Cueza. This isn't like a traditional Tamale, but it was a little bit better, in my opinion, in that the corn masa was more like Italian polenta style.Overall, it was a great experience and will definitely be going back. Hopefully sooner than later.

I love the outdoor patio area and the ambiance of the place. Not many Cuban restaurants in Orange county, so I am glad we have a great one in Costa Mesa.I have dined here a few times and the service is consistently good. The food is tasty, with generous portions, with the grilled salmon being my favorite dish.Parking is usually a pain with any place at the Lab, so I would plan some time to either wait for parking or for a bit of a walk if you need to park down the street.

Had an amazing brunch with friends. Server was awesome we told her it was our friends birthday and she brought out a shot with a sparkler ? food was good, drinks as well. Parking can be a little crazy to find at this time so plan accordingly.

Had a lovely time with hubby for date dinner. Food was delicious, and people are very friendly and helpful.Parking is in deficit so if you come for dinner give yourself time to look for a spot. We found one spot nearby and walked.If you come for dinner, I would recommend to make a reservation before heading out there because it can get very busy

We've been here before and love the food. The problem is that the servers are not on the same page. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. A different server came by and asked us for our order. We had not yet received our drinks when we were being asked to order our entrees.

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived and understaffed. So, there was a long wait at the unmanned hostess stand. The waiters were pleasant but frantic and initially not attentive until the bulk of the patrons departed and the restaurant slowed down. From that point on the service was good. The food was overall excellent and portion sizes large. Would go again but at a slower time just to be sure.

I had made my reservation with them weeks in advance and a couple days before my reservation they wanted to cancel my reservation because they changed their policy that week to put down a ridiculous amount of a deposit. And who ever contacted me wasn’t helpful & did not care.
