This restaurant had me hooked at fresh wasabi! In my experience only high end or serious sushi restaurants serve fresh wasabi. I have ordered here via Uber Eats at least 4 times in 3 weeks. The spicy tuna on crispy rice is addictive. Also ordered the 12 pc sashimi and it was fresh and delicious. Will try to eat live at restaurant. Highly recommended.

Customer service at its best! It's Super Bowl Sunday afternoon and I just placed an order through UberEats. Almost immediately I received a phone call from the restaurant explaining that they share a pick up lobby with a few restaurants, including Wingstop and because of Superbowl, Wingstop is extremely busy so there is a long wait for pick up at the lobby (about one hour). The owner asked me to give her phone number to the UberEats driver so he can call when he arrives and she will bring the order to him at the parking lot. She even added that if I am not able to reach the driver or if the driver gives up, she will personally deliver my order to me! When the driver arrived, the owner was already in the parking lot waiting for him with my order! I ordered sushi moriawase and no rice sashimi roll. Both were great! I am a fan of this restaurant now. Will definitely reorder.

Not worth the price. Messed up my order. Paid for baked salmon and got baked scallop. Won't be coming back Update: promptly refunded? I have not received a refund. Also you have to pick up this sushi inside goop kitchen. It's not refrigerated and just sitting on a shelf. I just want my money back.

We ordered the Sashimi Moriawase and it was delicious! The fish was really fresh and the flavor was great. Service was really friendly and she also gave us some complimentary edamame! Definitely our new go-to sushi spot!

Ordered delayed delivery through yelp. I don't know much about out sushi, only what my husband likes. Ordered a crunchy roll, dragon roll, spicy tuna roll and some other items. The tempura was really good, and the cucumber salad was the best I've had in a while. He also really enjoyed the rolls. Everything seemed fresh and prices seemed reasonable. I love that they have Ramune!

I've ordered a few times now on UberEats and the quality has been consistently great! The first time, they included a hand written personalized thank you note, the second time they included a complimentary order, I believe it was a delicious baked yellowtail collar. The most recent order, they accidentally missed packing the side sauces ordered. At the moment we were bummed, I left 4 stars with a note that there were no sauces included. Later, I noticed I had a voicemail from before the order was delivered, sincerely apologizing for the mix up. Exemplary example of thoughtful customer service! I felt bad to dock a star prematurely, so I'm leaving this shining, yet accurate review of this place. I believe they are a newer establishment, but so far they've demonstrated the kind of service people tell their friends about. I wish them much success and will continue to order from them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying HaruSeki!

Wanted to try this place, got the coupon in the mail went in to order and discount code says it is no longer active. The coupon says it’s valid till 12/31. Seems like false advertising to me. Ended up ordering from a different spot out of principle.

Excellent sushi! There's a lot of competition in the area and at first I was hesitant to give Haruseki a try but omg I'm so glad I did! It's delicious. All rolls are so perfectly crafted and you can tell the chef is detail oriented. 5 stars!

I would like to start off that this place is a takeout place, with that being said, this place is some of the highest quality sushi/poke places around. They have a very good poke bowl that I have order 5 times in the past month. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs a quick fill for poke. The fish is high quality and fresh, the toppings taste amazing, and the portion makes sense for the price.

I wanted to try out the new place, Haruseki Sushi & More at Costa Mesa close to Newport Beach. But I am about 15 miles away in Laguna Woods, and was a little bit concerned about the delivery time and quality of my dinner. But surprisingly, it took only 40 minutes from order completion to in my hands, my dinner - the order was made at 5:00 pm, and driving took about 27 minutes for 15 miles during rush hour.Surprise! Food was as fresh and delicious as it would be in dine-in at a restaurant. From now on I do not have to drive to enjoy Haruseki food. They are as delicious as they look, another excellent addition to my list. I am going to try sampling out one by one.Haruseki, keep up with your delicious, innovative and crafty food to salivate all the food lovers in Southern California!

What a great place! I ordered via Uber eats and it was packaged better than almost any place I have ever ordered from. We had requested less rice on our rolls and there was a personal note in there stating they did their best with less rice but also pointed out their "riceless" rolls for our next order. They also included little candies for Halloween! The food was fresh, great temperature and safe, sealed packaging. All the little things were done. We will for sure go visit their restaurant to checkout more of their menu!
