The most authentic and best tasting Napolitano pizza this side of Italy. All of their pizzas and pasta dishes are outstanding. They also have amazing specials. We've been coming for 16 years - after eating in Italy and looking around SoCal specifically for the taste we were craving to satisfy. The owner was classically trained in Neapolitan pizza crafting and also worked under Wolfgang Puck for a time. All of the ingredients are authentic Italian. The homemade Caesar salad dressing and the apple tart are must-have additions as well. Highly recommend!

Food is good and service is good. Those are two consistent facts that have kept it open for as far back as I can remember... The interior is pretty simple and not much atmosphere.. It's actually expensive. Pizza and pasta have high margins but their pastas are in the $30-$36 price point which is a little high for what you get but I want to stress that the food is good .

The food is amazing I found this because I couldn't believe all the perfect reviews could be true but they were Amazing food great server fair prices Hard to believe this place has been there for over 16 years and we've never been there We're going back for sure!

My CARBONARA: Unfortunately the chef 🧑🍳 cook the pancetta with too much heat and henceforth was unable to render any flavor from it. He then proceeded to add the egg to too hot 🥵 pasta and it curdled along with the cheese. Not good However, because of everything else, we plan to give them another try.

This restaurant is a gem. We discovered it on our last trip to Orange County. The food is outstanding. Our whole family is gluten free and we haven't had a problem for either visit. Great service too. We will always come back if we are anywhere near Il Dolce.

Il Dolce always delivers the best food, service and family feel of all the Italian restaurants in Orange County. I am a sucker for Wine Wednesdays where bottles of wine are half off. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for some high quality traditional Italian cuisine.
