The food here is always amazing! Best Napolitano style pizza we've found outside of Napoli! The pastas and the gnocchi are amazing too. Wow! We crave it once a month minimum. The staff are so sweet and welcoming and always make us feel so welcome too!

Restaurants like this are few and far between these days. The quality of the food, service and atmosphere is as good as it gets. We come for the GF Pizza that everyone is raving about and it’s incredible. The pasta is incredible we just love this place. The service is excellent. This family owned business is so genuine and always delivers the best experience!!!

Smallish dining room, but comfortable. Staff and service superb. Flavors very good, but serving size somewhat small. Prices somewhat high. Penne pasta with a remarkable sauce $32. A glass of wine $18. Dessert $15. We enjoyed our evening, but it was expensive.
We live in Riverside and needed to visit IKEA Costa Mesa to gather some ideas for our new house. Afterwards, feeling hungry, I searched for restaurants to find one I wanted to try. Being a picky eater, I always select what I want to eat. Then, I came across this restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try pizza and pasta in the traditional Italian style. Additionally, my daughter received a free pepperoni pizza from one of their generous customers who paid for her meal without any reason. We are grateful to him.

For starters we love the restaurant and the food however, this date was different. The food selection for prefix was not the best. They over charged for the worst items on the menu. We could not order from the regular menu even though there were others doing takeout that were able to get off regular menu items. This was our third Valentines day at this restaurant and will likely be our last.

It’s hard for me to express just how amazing the food at Il Dolce is… every dish is incredible - there is a reason why they won best pizza in OC 3 years in a row… The other entrees are also amazing. The specials here are unlike any other (I especially recommend the pear saccatini). The prices are extremely fair for the quality. Best Italian restaurant in OC!

My husband and I had a great experience here at dinner Saturday night. He had one of the specials for the evening, chicken Diane, which was perfectly cooked and had the most amazing tasty sauce. I had the Dia Volo pizza, which was wonderfully spicy, with a side of anchovies. We started the dinner with a simple, arugula salad with artichokes. The salad was not overdressed like so many other places do. We finished the dinner with a couple of cannolis, which were fantastic! Overall a great experience, and a terrific staff. My one complaint would be that it's just a little too bright inside for dinner time. Muting the lights would make it perfect!

A family was destroyed and my brother suffered psychological damage. The time I called home I just wanted you to know what kind of person he is.
This place truly blew our expectations out of the water. We got a pizza and pasta, both of which were amazing and tasted very fresh. Staff/service was extremely attentive and kind. Will be trying to come here anytime we're in town!

Hands down the most passionate and dedicated staff/ownership I’ve ever experienced. The owner was also our server as we had a 4pm reservation right at open. He gracefully handled every question, request, and comment swiftly and perfectly. It was my birthday dinner and with a group of 7 he took a personal approach with each individual at the table while still maintaining a smooth flow throughout the meal. I can’t recommend this spot enough! Food was absolutely phenomenal.

This was a great experience! I have tried other gluten free pizza that I think are disgusting, but their gluten free pizza was the best I have ever had! The severs were super nice and the food was excellent! It was suggested to try the truffle fries, and we were glad we did! Definitely recommend and we’ll be back!Dietary restrictions: They have amazing gluten free options throughout their menu.Parking: Small amount of parking shared with other businesses behind the restaurant
