In-sīt Coffee - Costa Mesa

I’ve been exploring a few matcha spots in Newport, and this one is definitely my favorite! I tried the cloud 9 matcha🍵, will definitely come back!!

i honestly had a terrible experience; i mobile ordered and i saw both of my drinks in the back without ice. i waited near the pickup area for about 8 minutes, being ignored by every single barista especially the bigger guy with black hair and the black shirt. he talked with a customer for the period of me waiting and as soon as the customer left he walked off and didn’t even acknowledge us until i eventually had to speak up and ask for my drinks because i was ignored by everyone ? this is a really disappointing experience but the drinks were good at least.

i got the cloud 9 matcha and it was soo good and creamy. i also got the banana hoja latte and it was amazing. the line was pretty long to order, but once you did order it came out pretty fast. staff were also very friendly

I loved their hazelnut latte; I don’t think I’ve ever finished a latte so fast.

The coffee and matcha was really good but it kinda sucked waiting for 40-45 minutes before we got our food (i.e., 1 bagel and 2 avocado toasts). I probably won’t come here for breakfast anymore and categorize this place as a 10-15 min wait for good beverages only.

Checked out In-Sit Coffee with my wife and we both ordered the Mizuba Yorokobi Ceremonial Matcha with a little vanilla sweetener. Nothing too crazy or wild, but definitely a solid matcha option. Good flavor, really smooth, and honestly tasted super close to the Aiya ceremonial matcha we usually make at home, which was a nice surprise. What caught my eye the first time walking up was the whole vibe of the place. The inside counter was really clean and had a cool look to it, kind of one of those spots you would want to hang out at for a bit. Plus there was a line out the door and the inside was packed, so you already know that was a good sign. If you are into a clean and smooth matcha without it being too sweet or bitter, this is a good spot to grab one. Would definitely come back to try a few more things on their menu when it is not so crazy packed.

GREAT iced strawberry matcha latte. My friend loved her matcha cloud nine. Great people watching. Great vibes. Would recommend. A little crowded on a Saturday but that’s to be expected! Quick and good service! Very sanitary (they use tongs to pick up straws-love that)

Quaint little local coffee shop that has great coffee. I come here specifically for their pasties. It’s Simply Devine. Michelle the Manager is so amiable and accommodating she makes you feel at home. So looking forward to going back at this store soon.

I love local coffee shops. 5his one is awesome. I had the Cold Brew with Cold Foam Cream too, wow... So good. Super polite service, well run coffee shop. Will definitely be back when I am in town. I consider this a must try.

Fun little coffee spot thanks to a recommendation from The Perfect Cup app. They do hot and iced pour overs, which is my go to sign for a quality coffee spot. Their selection was very good and pouring style was excellent. Highly recommend.
