This was the best mochi I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t say I’m a mochi connoisseur but I have had it in the states and in Japan. This was so fresh and flavorful. We tried strawberry shortcake, peach yogurt, and double mango! Highly recommend!
J. Sweets is located inside the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Costa Mesa. I’ve purchased many items for gifting but my top 3 favorites to gift are the Royce chocolates, the Yoku Moku “cigar” cookies, and the Hokkaido Shiroi Koibito. The latter is one of my favorites as it reminds me of my very first trip to Japan where I first tasted these delicate cookies.

Lots of Japanese chocolate and cookies gift sets. A bit pricey but taste so yummy. We buy a bunch whenever we stop by mitsuwa market. The people working there are very helpful and offer to gift wrap your items.
