My husband and I love Kuro Japanese Pizza at The LAB. It’s honestly the best pizza we’ve had in Orange County—thin, crispy crust, super flavorful, not too much cheese, just perfect.
I don’t know why it’s not busy on weekdays because this place deserves more customers. I hope they never close—I would miss this pizza so much. Highly recommend everyone try it!

I came to Kurt Pizza on a whim, and the experience and flavors I was met with was beyond what I had imagined. I accidentally tipped my pizza over and they offered to make me a new one, when I told them it was okay, the cook came out to offer nice again to make me a new me. I refused once more, so he brought me some sauces to dip my pizza in. It was so incredibly kind and thoughtful of them. I’m not from the area, but I will def come back and recommned them to everyone! Thank you so much for the kindness you showed me!

Pizza is freshly made to order and delish! It’s takeout only but lots of places to sit and enjoy at the Lab.
Not worth to go this pizza. Pizza not even good . I bought a pizza for my God daughter, it got burned like charcoal on the bottom. We went back to talk with the lady ,she took it back to the back and scrapped it and brought the same pizza out for her but still looked like charcoal on the bottom

The pizza is amazing. The crust is both crispy and has a great chew. I got the Nacho pizza, and it was a pleasant surprise for a unique pizza. Just the right amount of spicy and sweet. Highly recommend it!

We came to the Lab for a relaxing weekend outing and sampled pizza at Kuro.
Thomas is delicious! It is a red sauce pizza that comes with cheese and Italian sausage. We also ordered Nico which is a white sauce pizza with honey.
I enjoyed both pizza - the creativity, flavor, and texture are all on point.
Kuro offers proximity delivery to the Bootlegers brewery. We checked out the menu and placed our order while sampling delicious beer. Freshly made pizzas were delivered to us within 15 minutes.
Two pizza plus taxes and tips came be around $42. A bit pricy but the food and service are excellent!
We will return :)
Parking: The lab has its own lot but it can be challenging to find a spot during weekends.
It was not bad... but it was not good either. We ordered the Nico and the Margherita. The flavors were not balanced, and the dough by itself tasted liked flatbread. Limited options. Vegetarian options available, no vegan ones.

Amazing!! I loved the sauce…delicious and garlicky. Plus the crust was not soggy like some wood-fried pizza. Soo good went back for a second time the next day! There really is no place to dine in and the beverage choices are limited but 10/10 for taste!! Have to try!!

I really like their pizza and their vibe. Just pizza, one per person. My only quibble is that the crust has perhaps a bit more salt than I would prefer. But other than that the crust is great…very thin but still holds up.
I’ve has the plain red, and the italian sausage. I intend to work my way through all the pizzas.
