Empanadas are phenomenal! Flavorful and at $3.75 each as of 3/24. Came around 1pm on a Monday and practically empty. I got the spicy beef, but I'll be trying the others next time I come!

I ordered a $83 meal for my family get together at 4:30, we waited the specified time to pick it up showed up. The open sign was on but all the doors were chained shut. I reached out to the online service and they said there's nothing they would do. I got no email or anything from anyone here considering they got to the restaurant with a pending large order for 7 people and nothing. Just wasted $83 for nothing Don't trust the posted ours or I guess online ordering.

We decided to have empanadas to take home and have dinner onsite. For our takeout order we have 2 regular beef, 2 sweet beef and 2 Arab. And for dine in we order pizza and chicken Milanese with fries. Since everything is made to order we waited for our food to be made. When we finally got our order, both orders tasted freshI particularly liked the pizza, we had one which has some onions and cheese topping, this was really surprisingly good. The crust was tasty. Funny thing, side comment, I started tearing up, not sure why, the lovely owner said they were cutting a big amount of onions, which surprised me as I had the reaction as if I'm the one slicing onions. Well she was right, once I stepped out, everything cleared up for me. The owner was a lovely woman originally from Buenos Aires, she made me feel as if I'm visiting her home and she's welcoming and warm. For the empanadas, they were delicious and if you're reading this review, I recommend you go and visit La Farola and the delicious empanada awaits.

These are by far the best empanadas in Orange County. They are filled to the edges with the most flavorful ingredients. My kids love the pepperoni and cheese empanada, and my favorite is the beef. The chimichurri sauce is packed with flavor. I add some before every bite I take. Our order was ready on time and we had great service at pick up. I love the feel of the small mom and pop family restaurant. It's cozy and makes you want to hang out longer, enjoying a coffee from their espresso machine. I can't wait to dine in next time.

I love empanadas, but I'm a little picky about them. I don't like the frozen type found in supermarkets (chemical additives make my stomach sour, not to mention that the ingredients are rarely top-quality) and I don't like the fried type so common in central American countries (too greasy, too heavy... At least for me). Argentinian empanadas to me are the best: good size, baked and delicious. La Farola Empanadas makes NEAR PERFECT empanadas that are 100% homemade and delicious. But they don't just serve empanadas. They also have Argentinian-style sandwiches, pastas and "Milanesa." The latter is an Argentinian take on the Italian "cotoletta alla Milanese" (Milan-style fried cutlet), which this restaurant offers in several variations. We tried several empanadas and they were all delicious. My personal favorite was the Salteña, which comes with ground beef and potatoes in a very flavorful spiced (not spicy) sauce. I also tried the Lomito sandwich (steak sandwich). Also very flavorful and satisfying. The steak fries that came with it were also excellent (crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, right amount of salt). The prices are reasonable, especially in these times when food prices have reach crazy heights. Service is courteous and reasonably fast (you don't want any faster, it's not fast food). The restaurant only accommodates a few tables (take-out is far more popular here), but it's very clean. Highly recommended.

We came here for empanadas and was surprised to find they also had Italian dishes! We didn't try those, but the table next to us ordered a pizza and it looked pretty good! We were definitely peeking over. We got a dozen empanadas because we planned to have some there and take some home for later. It came with a pickled onion/pepper salsa and a chimichurri sauce. Empanadas to note:- Pepperoni tastes like a hot pocket, but in a good way!- The spicy beef and chicken were not spicy. The spicy beef was more tasty than the chicken. - Spinach was just ok, likely wouldn't get it again. - Ham and cheese was good, and I was pleasantly surprised it was not Swiss cheese. - Chicken was good too! We liked this one better than the spicy chicken. We had 5 there, and we were satisfied because the empanadas are a good size. We popped some remaining into an air fryer and they were just as good the next day.

I was looking for empanadas to take for a "RC build night" that takes place every month and I found La Farola's. They have the BEST spicy beef empanadas which are very good size as well. I ordered four for lunch and I was only able to eat two. For the build night I ordered a dozen and every single one of them was gone. Next time I need to order more. The owner is super nice and you can tell she really enjoys introducing empanadas to the uninitiated. I will definitely be back for lunch and for another build night.

Ok, so I have been to several empanada places and have really only enjoyed this place and another place in the valley. So far I have been here several times and have loved most of the ones I have tried, especially the cheese. Don't get me wrong, they are all good, however I have my favorites beef, cheese and onion and cheese, their pepperoni empanada is not bad either.I have to say, you have to try their french fries. I love them. Great taste, nicely toasty (not hard) on the outside and soft on the inside. The service is great, the quality and freshness is great. As much as I want to keep this hidden gem a secret, I have to let people know about it, I would recommend it to my friends.

Every time I drive to California I go out of my way (40 miles last time) to make a stop at La Farola and load up on empanadas for my trip and to take back home. Riquísimas empanadas caseras! Gracias!
