Aside from the obvious 5 stars for food and service, the reason for atmosphere is personal opinion. I wasn’t looking for a classy Mexican restaurant. I was looking for a sense of low key family style atmosphere. I ordered the Caldo de res and it was exactly how I wanted it to be. Delicious especially on a cold day.
The real Mexican meal for a real deal with a big enough portion for Shaquille O'Neal. Gringos are uncommon here, but not because they are unwelcome. Try the grilled shrimp burrito and you'll be hooked.
The pricing on the Super Nachos with Asada made for a very satisfying meal that felt like you were getting a good value on it. So I would highly recommend it.My advice for the soup would be for them to add some rice, corn, and other inexpensive ingredients, like soups are know for, to make it a far better value, just like they showed in the picture they uploaded.
