Located inside the Northgate mall. Very good tamales, with many flavors and styles to choose from, most at $3 each. I've been here twice - the first time was at dinner time and they were out of all the meat tamales and just had corn and other sweet varieties. Don't know if this is the norm, but for the second visit I went at lunchtime and they had a full selection. Flavor of the pork tamales was very good, but there was very little meat. Best tamales I’ve ever had! I got the elote (sweet) and pollo (savoury) flavours. They were super fresh and hot, and what especially stood out to me was how HUGE they were. They’re priced similarly or cheaper than competitors in Orange County, but they’re about 1.5 times the size of others and have more filling, so they’re a great value! Also, the line moved pretty quickly even on a Sunday. I will be back soon.
