Leatherby's Cafe Rouge

We ordered the special Shuched dinner for $68. It included a delicious appetizer with mushrooms and polenta, a yummy petite filet and an okay dessert.

Such a treat to be able to have a early dinner before the performance. The hostess, waiter Kitchen staff and the manager make us feel so welcome, plus the food is prepared perfect. Thank you

So… great space. Small but not too intimate.
Food is solid. Classic. Tasty. Even elegant. Lost a star for timing.
Two major events at adjoining venues. Didn’t seem to plan for being so busy.
Service…. Where do I start. Above all. Trevor - bar tender extraordinaire. He was fast. Delivered. Kept tabs at the bat while the aforementioned poor planning, kept him sooooooo busy.
But still. Personable. Delivered. Engaged. And was running like a pure athlete.
If you attend a meal here. Trevor at the bar is your guy!!!

Diner before a night of theater at Segerstrom Center. We were seated quickly and had a great table with a view of the restaurant as well as through the large windows that surround Leatherby's. Our server was super attentive without hovering. We were given plenty of time to enjoy a pre dinner drink while we reviewed the menu and chose a couple of appetizers (small plates), delicious! Our dinner of lamb for myself and halibut for my amazing wife was cooked perfectly and the plating was attractive and pleasing to the eyes. As the restaurant filled I realized that the noise level wasn't overwhelming, my wife and I could easily carry a conversation without competing with everyone around us. A pumpkin cheesecake was on the dessert menu but we were beaten to the last serving and substitute of a delicious pumpkin pie along with chocolate mousse cake completed our meal. Thank you Leatherby's to a wonderful first time experience. We will return again.

Service was outstanding and the food excellent! Perfect venue to have dinner before a show or concert!

I believe there was only one bartender on the night of Boz Scaggs concert. Our server was great, but at the mercy of the bartender. Someone may have calked in sick? Everything else was phenomenal!

Very nice atmosphere with modest noise level and nice conversations all around. Service was decent although a touch slow delivering the first wine glass. Offered lemon for the water but never brought it. Food was wonderful - she had salmon and I had the halibut. Perfectly cooked and light and flaky and tasted wonderful. Not a fan of corn risotto but this was pretty good. Timing was perfect for the show and much appreciated.

This is a great way to begin your evening (or afternoon) at the symphony or theater! You are welcomed as a special guest, the servers are very friendly and helpful. If they don't know an answer to a question, they are quick to find the answer for you. My friend needed a special change to a menu side and they treated it as importantly as the main entree! They know most are there for an event and they are careful to ensure you aren't rushed but you are done in time to enjoy your event without rushing! I enjoyed the halibut and my friend had the salmon. Perfect portions and perfectly prepared. I'd come back even if I weren't going to the theater!!

We were there to see a show. The food was delicious. Our server, Eric was attentive and checked on us periodically. Not the fault of the restaurant but the the guy at the table behind us was was talked loudly nonstop

Truly a great restaurant and so convenient to the theater. The preparation of the menu is concise, yet complete, the presentation and tastes are always superb. Three courses and it is almost too much. always look forward to a dining there. The ambience is worthy of the symphony or any night out, perfect for a couple or few friend's.

excellent service for a excellent meal; we ordered lamb chop and salmon entre which was cooked to prefection. The calamari had the lightest breading without compromising taste. It was best pre-show dinner. Will come back again.

A great place to have dinner before sing a show and as far as date night goes the date liked it especially the dessert

I have always wanted to try Leatherby's so I was very happy to have the opportunity and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Delicious food and Great environment followed by a really fun musical experience made for very enjoyable evening.
