Absolutely phenomenal experience at Manpuku BBQ! From the moment we stepped in, the manager's family-oriented approach was evident, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attentiveness of the staff, led by the manager, truly elevated our dining experience. The food was exquisite served with care. Whether you're a BBQ aficionado or just looking for a memorable meal, Manpuku BBQ is a must-visit. Five stars all the way!

Our grill turned off 5 times and besides stating sorry, they never bothered to offer us a new table. The portions are so small for the price. I've been here a year ago and they definitely reduced their portions. I was disappointed.

They used to be a better quality restaurant with good food and service. Unfortunately my last visit was such a disappointment. We ordered beef tartar that wasn't fresh. It was turning brownish and smelled bad. The servers were nice and attentive except the front girl who apparently wasn't happy and giving us attitude. Even one of the servers admitted that the front girl can be rude sometimes! I feel like they don't care about the quality anymore as long as they are all booked :( Fortunately we have so many other Japanese restaurants with better quality food and service.

The food was the best, a bit pricey, but worth it. We were not sure if we ordered enough, we were still hungry and added more, other tables were doing the same. Had to scan the menu on or phones. We went there after 9 pm, and had to wait for a table. I would suggest making a reservation. I will be back to dine again!

This was a wonderful experience this week! We frequent Brazilian, Korean, & Japanese fusion AYCE places, and THIS was the finest we've ever had (here in the US) the menu is a la carte so expect it to be pricey. We sat at a nice table by the window. The atmosphere wasn't noisy for us at all. Very pleasant atmosphere on a Monday night. Excellent servers. The host gentleman was very charming along with our waitresses. We just got back from Japan, and trying to find great wagyu hasn't been easy. This place was well worth it! Most 5 the meats we ordered were kobe. (Skip the $8 juice menu)

Good food and service. but we were rushed a bit to finish dinner. When we got there, we were notified to finish 1 hour. Actually, we could have stayed almost 1 and half hour without any further whistle blow and it was enough time. But we felt prompted.

This is my favorite restaurant hands down. I wish we had one in Arizona. Not sure what needs to happen to make that happen, but it has to happen soon.Been here at this location twice this week, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional.FoodThe food has been absolutely the best, the quality, freshness, and flavors are all out of this world. It’s amazing to taste the different flavors that each cut of meat, with seasoning brings you.AtmosphereSince I have travelled quite frequently around the world, when I am here, I feel like I’m in Japan. It’s a small, nice, warm cozy Japanese feeling restaurant but it’s big enough for us big Americans. Clean - super clean. They take time to clean up each table thoroughly.StaffWe have mostly interacted with the ladies that work here. They have been so accommodating and friendly. They always have a smile, and willing to explain the dishes to you. They were also very helpful in getting us in early when another table finished up early. I really appreciate the effort these ladies took to get us in.OverallThis is absolutely my favorite restaurant. In comparison to the Yakiniku restaurants I have been to in Japan, Thailand, China, Las Vegas, etc, this one as well as the other locations (Torrance and downtown LA) have been absolutely outstanding every time. Very happy. I will always be back to see these ladies smile and experience their friendliness and amazing fabulous food. Conclusion: If you are in LA, you must try it. No exceptions!Kid-friendliness: The ladies working here remembered us from the night before and put together a kids plate with fork and spoon for our son. Very thoughtful, and always very nice to him.

If you're looking for quality over quantity, this is the place. Food quality is excellent. A little pricey, but worth it. Reminds me of the quality you'd find in Japan. Most of the servers are very sweet. A nice treat.

First time trying it last night and was very pleased. Felt like I was dining in Japan.Really do love the small, low light atmosphere that gives it an intimate feel. For the food, just about all of the beef cuts that I had here were nicely marbled and delicious. Try the Tokyo style prime short rib, prime ribeye, prime outside skirt, and prime short rib. Certain cuts have a nicely flavored marinade to them. I’d also recommend trying their juices, especially the pear flavor as they’re freshly made in house.Don’t forget to try the sweet potato ice cream dessert before you leave. Very unique.

Food is great, and service is on point. I was a bit sad that they don't carry their signature pumpkin dessert anymore, but their new dessert menu was great, too! I'll definitely come back again.
