I asked the waitress to clean the dirty table and from that moment on. The service became a nightmare. I asked for an orchata water, he brought me pineapple, the chips only about 4... napkins, one of them didn't give me the pinsas for the clam, like they gave away the food.

I work nearby and had lunch with some coworkers here (10 of us). We were greeted promptly with a smile. Ordered a Corona bottle with lime. There is plenty of seating inside along with a few seats outside. The decor is ocean themed and Mexico related. The music was a bit loud for conversation but we were able to have some loud convos. They offer chips and salsa at no additional cost. I ordered the small shrimp cocktail that comes with tomato, onion, cilantro and avocado in the cocktail base with a dab of ketchup. They offer various seafood dishes along with burritos, tacos, soups and plates. They do have a bar and offer buckets of beer. The staff is great and attentive, we will be back hopefully sooner than later The staff is great and attentive, we will be back hopefully sooner than later. No issues with parking ♿ Accessable

Quail and shrimp was tasty. Fun place with good energy all around but music is a little too loud. Our server was sweet and patient. Overall very good experience

I ordered aguachiles and I was very disappointed, no flavor, not spicy and really expensive. The micheladas are very weak. The only good thing was the chips and salsa, but everything else was just not good at all. Save for you money and go to another places for mariscos.

Server acted as if she was annoyed, no suggestive selling, not personable, stood in corner chatting w other servers essentially ignoring the few guests in the restaurant. The menu is impossible to read, it is cluttered with every combination possible, the print is so small you need a microscope to read it. The food is somewhat consistent w what I remember from the past, but the presentation is not. The prices are ridiculously high given the impersonal, inattentive service, ridiculous menu, and unpleasant atmosphere. The rearrangement of the tables, getting rid of the banquetes is a big mistake, obviously an attempt to seat more customers, it’s too impersonating, too open, uncomfortable! The restaurant was too dark and the music was insanely loud. Over all it’s disjointed, and mismanaged.

I ordered the shrimp cocktail. My wife ordered beef soup. She didn't finish her soup and so we asked them to put it in a take out container. She left a good portion of her soup including plenty of beef in the soup bowl. When we got home, we noticed that they did not include the beef and had taken it all out! I can't believe they went out of their way to do that. We were very dissapointed to see this. Maybe it explains why they took so long to bring back the take out container.

I ordered the shrimp cocktail. My wife ordered the Caldo de res. They didn't finish their broth and we asked them to put it in a to-go container. He left a good portion of his broth, including meat, on the plate. When we got home, we noticed that the meat was gone and they had taken it all out! We were very disappointed to see this. Maybe that explains why it took them so long to bring the to-go container.

You step out of a strip mall in Costa Mesa and step into a little town somewhere in Mexico. You don’t even have to fly or go to the airport to lose yourself in an authentic Mexican joint full of flavors of Mexico and music and atmosphere unique to this magical country. We decided to visit this place on a Friday night after basketball practice and the place was pretty packed with a few empty tables. There is a live DJ that is blasting Mexican music very loudly and also have karaoke going on TV which the patrons get involved every 10 minutes or so from their tables.Menu is expansive. A little on the pricy side but hey you are next to Newport Beach and a mile from the water so it is to be expected. I ordered their shrimp burrito and my son ordered the #3 which is a grilled shrimp special. He devoured every bit of his plate that was accompanied by rice and beans and salad and tortilla. My burrito was the size of Newport pier. It was very full and wet. The flavour was just ok but I was a bit disappointed and had to add quite bit of salsa and habanero sauce to kick it up but managed to only eat half of it. Service is great and our waitress was very attentive to our needs.

A hair came out in my broth... and they did nothing!!! They thought I didn't want to pay for the food...and the truth is, very bad attitude on the part of the manager.
