Birthday Dinner at Mastro's – Costa Mesa 🎉🥩🍷 Celebrated a friend birthday at Mastro's in Costa Mesa and it was amazing! The vibe was elegant but fun—live music, great energy, and top-notch service. I had the bone-in ribeye (perfection), and we shared the lobster mashed potatoes and sautéed asparagus—everything was rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated. And yes, we finished with the famous warm butter cake... totally lives up to the hype 😍 The staff...
Went to a business celebration. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the noise was so loud we were unable to keep up a conversation as the live singer was so loud in the dining room and unable to be turned down. The food and service were exceptional though.
The lighting in the restaurant was a bit pretentious! Too dark to see and read the small letters on the menu. While the shrimp cocktail was vey good the horseradish was superb, the price was way out of order. Steaks and side dishes were excellent. Surprised to see the restaurant sparsely populated on a Friday evening. Value could be the problem
