We went here for lunch. No reservations at that time we came. They said on the phone they’re busy. We took a chance luckily there were 2-3 spots free parking. We waited less than 10 min minutes to be seated. We all enjoyed our food. The service was fast and everyone seemed to be doing great at taking our orders. Our server was Selah, Mindy was the one who seated us. Turned out, Mindy was the manager.. The price is reasonable and portions are adequate for the cost. Highly recommend. Lastly, they are o n late and all day. breakfast. I ordered the buttermilk chicken, my husband ordered chicken and waffles and my daughter ordered the Memphis breakfast with bacon @ 2 eggs, and French toast. We are all satisfied. It is quieter outside than inside. Note: they substituted my collard greens with green beans Best bacon I tasted like home cooked. Best chicken and waffle and bacon. My daughter loved the potato cakes and I loved my mashed potatoes and buttermilk chicken.

The atmosphere was spotless, and the food was fantastic. We ordered the special pot roast, catfish, and barbecue shrimp. Our waiter was very kind. I had the impression that I was dining in a friend’s warm and inviting house!

Buttermilk fried chicken & waffle is great! Will back for sure for more!
My husband and I are from Texas, so our bar for southern food is admittedly very high. Memphis Cafe did not disappoint us at all. Biscuits & gravy were delicious and classic comfort food (though I’d recommend asking for extra gravy), but the real rock star of the meal was the shrimp & grits. Absolutely delicious! Very creative take that works fantastically. Highly recommend visiting here.

Only got one picture of the food because it was so good! After our appetizer (amazing deviled eggs!) we jumped into breakfast. The portions were reasonably priced. We sat on the patio with our dog and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly from calling to check the patio was dog friendly to checking out.

A good option for a quick breakfast with good service… the staff is friendly and they answer all your questions regarding the menu… the breakfast is varied and the waffles are very tasty… they have a bar and a wide variety of liquors
