I've been eating at Mi Casa since I was a teenager probably 45 years. All of my children's birthdays my grandkids birthdays, we all went to Mi Casa. I just ordered takeout and paid $9 per taco. The food was cold, the cost my wife and I $60 for each of us to have two tacos beans and chips. We went to the restaurant to see their new renovation, I thought we were eating in Taco Bell. Whoever is running this place is running it straight into the ground. We went through the grandparents the brothers and now whoever? You've lost one long time customer.

Ordered online through Uber eats. Messed up my order again, this has happened three times now, I pay for a pint of salsa and I don't receive it. Apparently they can't read or check the order. Nice job mi casa team

Renovation was a complete waste of money. Had lunch soon after it reopened. Food not same (worse). Won’t be going back. El Matador is Mi Casa’s future.

I've been going to Mi Casa for at least 50 years and love their shredded beef tacos! I was excited about seeing the remodel so my husband, best friend and I went for dinner. The good: The tacos were the same! Restaurant looked cleaner without the old carpet and shutters, looked more open. The server was very friendly. The bad: The layout around the kitchen area couldn't have been designed by someone who had experience. We were seated at the table right where the entrance is to dump dirty dishes, dirty rags, buckets etc.... My chair sat facing that disgusting mess and there was food on the floor, it was very unappetizing to look at. Why in the world didn't someone think to put up a small wall to block that view?? Leaving and walking by the kitchen wasn't much better either, no one wants to look at that mess! Mi Casa, you had the perfect chance to make it all right but blew it with this. Nobody wants to sit near and facing the dirty dishes

Friendly good food and great margaritas. Still 7 years later, living on the east coast, Mi Casa is my all-time favorite Mexican Restaurant in the country! Taco Tuesday is a perfect excuse to go have a great margarita and chips while enjoying a fun room full of laughter and smiles! Weather in the bar area, where the friendly staff is always quick to help, or at a table with family and friends sharing a great plate of chips and cheese! The go to is always Mi Casa in Costa Mesa!

Have been visiting for 30-years ... “Cheese Casa” or “Queso Casa” does not disappoint... always good... newly remodeled I'm sure the younger generation will love... I miss the the old red leather worn out booths.... Love the place...
GREAT LOCALLY OWNED multi generational Mexican restaurant that has served Costa Mesa for 42 years! I have been eating there for 40 of those years♥️ The food and service is what they are famous for! They recently have been criticized for the remodel that was completed a week ago. Some people just can’t take change. Change is the only constant that you can’t stop. Happy people are the people that embrace change! I applaud Ryan and Shasta for striving to make the dining experience at Mi Casa exceptional!!

With a fresh renovation of the entire restaurant, the same quality food and service remains. A gem of a location and Shasta is on it with recommendations, attention, and a sweet soul. The entire staff we've had are kind and attentive. It's definitely worth a bit of a drive!

We enjoyed our visit very much. The food was delicious and large portions, I took some home for the next day. Our server Dana was very nice and knowledgeable in the menu. Very clean and bright interior which was also comfortable. Definitely recommend you try Mi Casa.

We have been going to Mi Casa for years, but this was our first time going back since they were closed for renovation, and since they got fancy with being on open table. We were worried they would have fixed something that wasn't broken, but nope, they upgraded the seating but kept the same great food and service. Jackie was our server and she was fast, friendly, and helpful. One thing they did keep from before is the fact they are still a Pepsi house. No!! How can you serve Mexican and not have Coke? We learned to bring our own. They happily provide glasses with ice. But come on guys: Coke. Still, a neighborhood gem!
