My friend and I visited on a Sunday, greeted the solitary worker behind the counter. We were off to the side, still discussing what we wanted to order, she cuts us off, asking if we were ready. There was no one else in line behind us. While I waited for my coffee order, my friend used the restroom. My friend kindly let the worker know there was no more hand soap in the restroom. The worker replied, “the fact that there is no soap is none of my concern.” I let her know, it is. Especially if you are an employee and you are not washing your hands when returning to work. We ordered the Spanish latte and the Campfire latte. The Spanish takes the cake— customer service and cleanliness was a definite flop.

I asked the barista if I can use the restroom after ordering, and was unfortunately met with a dank, piss stained dungeon with a LIVE COCKROACH making its way towards me. Scared for my life (I had a traumatic cockroach experience in my youth) I took the quickest pee known to man and skedaddled out of there without even buttoning my pants. If there’s a cockroach in the bathroom, I can only imagine its friends and family has made home somewhere in the kitchen. This place is way too expensive to be so disgustingly unhygienic. If you love cockroaches, Milk and Honey is for you, if not, bring roach spray or steer clear.

Decor is super cute, as is the seating. Main issue is the server that happened to take our order (granted, it was our first time there and I’m not sure how the other staff are) - she was rude when we were choosing pastries, cut me off with “is that everything” not even a second after I got a part of our order out, just really unfriendly in general. I work in retail and always have, so I really only expect a semi-interested expression and patience at least, but she was pretty sub par overall. Drinks were kinda tasteless honestly, and the muffin was like a cold brick in the middle and really crumbly. Flavour was good though. Overall, maybe it was just an off day, but you could do better for cafe choices probably.

Cute spot with delicious coffee options that were not “typical”. The açaí bowls were good but the coffee is where it was at!

Sweet coffee shop with a beautiful outdoor seating space. The iced campfire latte was one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. 😍

Surprisingly mediocre and tatty— dirty tables and floors, unfinished bathroom. Not a well-designed space. Spanish latte was decent though very sweet. The only positives were the WiFi and ample seating

I really enjoyed their drink at the location. Their is a lovely outdoor section that I sat in and caught up with friends. Do know it is located in a very busy shopping area.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Milk & Honey for a couple of years, but unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience during my recent visit. I ordered an unsweetened matcha with coconut milk, and when I received it, the matcha was not properly mixed. Upon taking my first sip, I could taste only clumps of matcha powder—there was no blend of milk at all, and the color was unusually dark, not the vibrant green I expect from matcha.

I approached the staff member politely to address the issue. I mentioned that perhaps she was busy or working alone, and I was understanding of that. However, her response was unexpectedly rude. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she told me to leave the café. She even called the owner and described me as a “harsh customer,” accusing me of raising my voice, which was completely untrue. At no point was I disrespectful or loud.

It was only after speaking with the owner that I was offered a redo or a refund. While I appreciate the resolution, the entire interaction with the staff member left me very disappointed. She lacked basic customer service skills—there was no apology or attempt to address my concerns until it escalated to the owner.

This experience was not reflective of the Milk & Honey I’ve enjoyed in the past. I hope management takes this feedback constructively to ensure customers are treated with respect and issues are resolved properly in the future.

Place is trash it’s so small no parking whatsoever. Prices are ridiculous. $3.50 for a muffin and it’s from Costco. They’re literally just went to Costco and bought muffins and are reselling it all super cold. Customer service mid and don’t have the same menu selection as their other stores. Overall trash go somewhere else.

I was asked if I wanted to top off my shaved ice with condensed milk and I said yes which was the most delicious decision I ever made however I think I might be lactose intolerant because my stomach hurted a little bit after this but it's not their fault
