While I got take out, the ambiance inside ordering to go was quite lovely. No blaring music and there was nice lighting and decoration inside with an outdoor space full of beautiful plants.

I ordered and recommend the rare beef pho with an additional short rib. The broth was flavorful and aromatic. I also ordered a Thai ice tea, which was on the sweeter side but I let the melting ice balance it out. My husband ordered a jasmine iced tea that was delicious!

The young woman that took our order was very kind and knowledgeable. She informed us of their organic sources which made the price well worth it in my opinion. I love a restaurant that prioritizes farm to table organic produce and meat.

I look forward to coming back to enjoy a meal dining in.

I was looking for a new place for takeout. I discovered when I got there that their prices were more than advertised. I ended up ordering the Bun noodle dish with pork and added the veggie egg roll on the side for an additional 3 dollars. The total came out to $24 dollars and when I got home I realized there was only one egg roll! Very disappointed. The food was average. You can get more for money any where else.

Interesting scent to my reg sized pho with beef. Not what I expected. But cilantro was lacking. Not enough veggies for two so we requested for more.

I have to give my honest opinion about this place and I hope they can improve with the feedback. I’ve been here a total of three times in the past year. The first time last year I randomly stumbled upon it and really enjoyed the pho broth, I actually finished it until there was none left. I’ve been to lots of pho places and I know how pho generally tastes whether at a restaurant or home cooked so I know what tastes good.

Because of the great food experience I went back again a few weeks later after the first time, the second time was the worst experience that I couldn’t understand how they could mess up.

I ordered the regular pho and needed good bone broth to help with my headache. For some odd reason they messed up my order by sending me the vermicelli dish with pork and egg rolls, which was really strange. When I actually received my pho and noodles there was an odd soap flavor in the dish, that I had to complain to the staff that it tasted like soap. They took it back to remake it again but again the soap taste was still in the dish. (I think there is something wrong with how they prepare their pho noodles.) During that visit I left without even touching the pho and was completely disappointed.

I almost checked this place completely off but came back again last night hoping this place could redeem itself. I ordered the pho again with noodles on the side because of my experience from the second visit to avoid the soapy taste. We were the only two customers there and they somehow messed up our order and had to take it back to correct it. When the pho finally came it tasted way off from what I remembered during the first visit. The broth didn’t have that unique star anise flavor and tasted more acidic as if they had added lime to the dish. I gave this feedback to the manager who said he was surprised that it was off, and that he has not tried tasting it that day. He went back to try it and said that it is a little different and that they recently hired a new executive chef. While at the restaurant the pho tasted okay, and since I had leftovers I ended up taking the pho broth and side noodles back home for lunch the next day. After reheating the dish and finally adding the noodles to the leftover I broth that I realized they didn’t not fix the soapy taste from my second experience. The soapy taste was still there!

Now I’ve completely checked this place off my list, and will not be coming back.

I haven’t been to every Phö place in OC to claim this is the best, BUT out of the 7 pho places i have been to out here, this takes the prize.
So far. I’m impressed with the service.
I really liked the pho. I drank the broth right out of the bowl. The noodles were decent.
The meat was fatty and juicy. Delicious.
Its a nice place with enough seating.
AND it was like $16 That’s kinda cheap for out here in OC.

The pho with brisket was delicious. This was my first time after my wife suggested it for dinner. We walked right in and sat right away. The service was A+ and the atmosphere was comfortable. Definitely a spot we will be coming back with friends.

Family liked the Spring Rolls. Decent Pho if you can’t get around. There is much better Pho in Westminster, though.

. . . a GREAT little Vietnamese restaurant in Costa Mesa . . . with NO MSG, and organic, all-natural ingredients. Mo is a GREAT owner/chef, very friendly and social, and the Phó here is DELICIOUS, with AMAZING broth, good to the last drop - doesn't even need to have any (black bean) sauce added for flavor, as it's so good on its own, unless you want to add some chill/Sriracha for spiciness. ? They have a cool, covered outdoor patio, and it's just enough removed from the bustling traffic of Harbor Blvd. to provide a tranquil setting for truly enjoying a good meal. We'll DEFINITELY be return customers!!
