I've been here a few times because they're one of the only few Shabu's opened all day. The service is horrible and I am always really generous with tipping for that reason, so when I come back they can remember me lol but it keeps getting worse. We got our food and drinks and nobody ever came back to give us a water refill or so we could order another beer. Mind you we were the only 2 people there. It's as if they were bothered that we showed up and ate there. Never going back!

First time at Mokkoji Shabu Shabu. We were seated right away and had a great experience during lunch. The presentation was excellent and the atmosphere was very good. The food preparation area and the hot pots were nice and clean. I ordered the beef brisket and my wife ordered the salmon. The vegetables were nicely arranged and tofu blocks were even branded. As an added plus, the brisket was pre-marinaded (I haven't seen that at other shabu diners). The peanut sauce dip was delicious. Steven, our server, was very helpful and responsive. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Mokkoji. THANK YOU!

Came here for the first time today with a couple friends and it was great! Food quality, ambience, cleanliness were all very nice. It’s pretty busy on Saturday night (30-60 min wait @ peak time). I wouldn’t recommend anymore than 2 people in your party at the bar area since it gets a bit loud for a 3rd or more. Seated tables are great for parties of 3-4, and def sit outside if you have more than 4. Totally worth the visit!

This place is banging. The food service and table hot pot are amazing. We had the lobster with spicy chicken broth. Filling and very tasty.

Other than the weird early 2000s pop music, it was a very nice experience. The meat and veggies were fresh and delicious. The broths were flavorful and well spiced. Unfortunately, I finished everything so fast that I didn't have a chance to take a photo of the well prepared food. Perfect place to take your friends, loved ones, and significant other! Very very nice Japanese hot pot!

Great vibe, food, service, & company! Ordered the spicy miso broth w/ large marinated flat iron Angus beef, was delish, veggies are unlimited but there's room for improvement on the selection, recommendation is to order XL on the meat!
