This review is already posted on Yelp, but I wanted to share it here too:This place offers a solid (hot or cold) vanilla latte. I usually order mine with oat milk. But my absolute favorite drink here is the The Nook Way. It's a cold brew with chicory, hazelnut syrup, and oat milk. I feel it's a nailed perfection of flavors.I did try the iced Spanish latte, but it wasn't for me. The cinnamon was too overpowering in the drink that it eclipsed the other flavors. I do believe there's an option to tell them to leave out the cinnamon though.Service is hit or miss in terms of friendliness. I have encountered welcoming and cheery vibes about 50% of the time. I think the gentleman with the baseball cap is usually friendly, as is the other gentleman with longer, slightly wavy hair. But the shop is always lightening fast at making drinks compared to other coffee shops, so I won't nitpick too much on friendly service.Space: it's small, so don't expect to sit here for conversations with friends, or to study. There are some limited seats inside, but it's more for waiting for your order.I am also sad they disabled the ability to do online orders or to call in to place a phone order. I'm guessing the traffic for the small space of their shop could be why they're no longer doing online orders because the online ordered drinks could just overtake the counter space.Parking here can be a pain in the butt, so I've yet to figure out a secret to getting parking. I solely go for coffee in this plaza and wished there was a spot for 10 minute parking to get in and out.Overall, I appreciate the quality drinks at Nook and find myself coming back several times a week.

I had an almond milk latte and I think it was the almond milk that they use that threw me off. This is a good quality coffee, just not the best latte I’ve had. My friend had the cold brew and said it was really good. The service was amazing, the employees were super nice and helpful. The atmosphere was really cute, but it’s small. There is a ton of outdoor seating and it made the perfect co-working space. I definitely hope to be back! For more reviews follow me here on google or on instagram @audrey.pulliam

Very hippy coffee place, so cute and relaxing. They didn’t have almond milk as an option but they have oat milk. The size of latte is so small and it’s about $6.50. I had the vanilla latte with oat milk and it was really

Cute spot with some indoor and outdoor seating. The whole area feels very hipster and chill. Parking is a little rough though and you might have to circle a few times before being able to find a spot. Internet connection is pretty solid if you wanted to do some remote work but you'd have to do it outside since they have no suitable tables on the inside, only seating. I got a chai latte with oat milk and it came out to be $6.25, so fairly average pricing. Taste is okay but not the best chai that I've had. May return if in the area but I wouldn't travel for this.

Ordered both Honey Oat Latte and Honey Lavender Latte and like both of them. Very friendly staff and located in the LAB Costa Mesa. Recommend to stop by and try their coffees. Plenty of parking front and rear and other shops

Nook is located in the LAB and parking can be difficult if you're not here first thing when they open. I ended up ordering an iced Spanish latte with oat milk and it was delicious. And because I couldn't help myself I also got a cinnamon roll. I didn't have high expectations for this but was pleasantly surprised and I'd get it again. Service was quick and friendly. While there's some seating inside, there's also a nice little outdoor area nearby.

A nice small coffee shop location in The LAB Anti-Mall area. Will be going back to try more of their options.

Really enjoyed my coffee. Service was friendly and efficient. There's sitting in and out and my pastry was delish! It's an overall cute shop.. the portion of the coffee is smaller then other shops I've been to but really enjoyed every sip.
